Take over FUN Token with huge amount could be the reason why they started collapes, moreover the way they promoting their token draining their money more and more, because I experienced the benefits of holding their tokens, until they changed their approach and conditions deteriorated for both investors and players who didn't hold the tokens.
But I believe their not bangkrupt, just want to run with the remaining money.

Their token strategy did backfire, but it was only one of the reasons for their downfall. It was a combination of reasons that led to them taking the drastic decision to scam instead of dying in a noble manner implying that they took the easy route.

Reminds me of the whole FTX scam and SBF getting screwed properly though the Freebitco owner is still on the run. Braindead humans!

Yep, I'm more than sure that many forum users went through this faucet when they were just getting started with BTC and the crypto industry in general.
Perhaps things might have turned out differently for freebitcoin if they hadn't positioned themselves as a casino and partnered with FUN, buying up most of its supply. That was likely the turning point in the site's history when its creators took a wrong turn.

Or may be it's someone who's grabbing this opportunity to lure the users from freebitco.in to their scam site.
May be their whole intent is to scam those users while using the same interface as freebitco.in.
I don't think freebitco.in owners would be so stupid to use the same interface if their sole intent is to scam the users.

There are copycats that pop up every now and then. They usually disappear after a few months. There was this Ponzi scheme in 2020 that was offering 18% monthly interest and they had almost the exact same interface as FreeBitco.in.

Copying the look of another website is very easy, especially now with AI coding tools. My intuition is that DropBTC is probably an unrelated scam.

Copying an already scam site and trying to scam more people. I guess he'll run out of luck though.

Even if a criminal was once a hero who helped people and did good for them, and then turned to a life of crime, that doesn't mean he should be excused. Yes, there was a time when their website was among the most visited, but... Then they started using it for fraud. I'd like to see how the court reacts to an argument in their favor
