I heard about the competition either here or through the site. As can be seen from the user ID, I have been a member of FreeBitco.in for far longer than the Lambo competition was around. I have also been part of the forums for far longer!

Zero tickets were purchased, and all were earned through play!

I'll definitely be entering the contest again!

So, more people select a bet, lower the odds would be.

Which I guess means the best strategy on the site really is to wait to the expiry date and then bet on it. So you see where the odds are the best and where the chances are likely to hit. OR go for what you think people will not bet at an early multiplier?

Got lucky on the April Bitcoin price guess, I dont think this month will be so easy but I should have had more confidence in April vs these odds because it was near to the 200 day average so surely I figured we had gravity in that area.     Sure enough it landed on my highest bet though I chose a couple with much lower bets in case we hit it and went down but we crossed over into the highly unlikely odds area lucky for me , not sure I will guess again so well next time.   Pretty sure I benefited from the time factor for having confidence early.    I'll be mulling over May guess for far longer, it should get progressively harder to continue upwards but it cant be as simple as 10k surely.  12293 for a simple gradient continuation vs 23x odds, at present I dont like that bet

I myself placed 5 bets on 5 different price ranges,  "$10,001 - $11,000", "$11,001 - $12,000", "$12,001 - $13,000", "$17,501 - $20,000" and "$8,001 - $8,500", and none of them won. Well, I knew that I had small chances with the first four, I just placed 2k sats on each of them because of the high outcome odds. But why on earth didn't I bet on "$8,501 - $9,000"?!

Bitcoin is indeed unpredictable. But I'll try again, maybe in 20 days, closer to the end.

I see that bettors are more optimistic this time. We have over 500 bets on "More than $25,000" already.

@STT congratulations on winning your bet, and @betwrong it’s difficult for me to believe that you came so close and yet you couldn’t win your bet that’s some hard luck. Furthermore who’re these over optimistic gamblers who believe that bitcoin prices will cross $25k levels so soon?, because the maximum levels that bitcoin prices currently can cross are $10k or $12k.

I use a multitude of different strategies with varying base bets. For straight martingale, I've started base bets as low as around 100 satoshi and as high as 0.02 BTC, just depending on how I feel at the time. I've also used other methods as well, including custom ones.

As for RP, I feel the best way to utilize it is to cash out for straight satoshi.

Do you leave the odds at 47.5% then? I mean, you won't lose too much money, but I guess it's even better if you can get tickets while also making a (small) profit.

I've got 31 tickets so far now, and I've also made 0.001 profit. It's not much, but if I let it build up like that... After a while, I can also raise the base bet without a higher risk, which will make it go even faster.

I guess you did have quite a few BTC when you started doing all this.
I once calculated that even if you had all the BTC in the world (even the BTC that wasn't mined yet), you still wouldn't be able to get past 50 rounds if your base bet is 1 satoshi.

I'm considering investing some RP next week to get an RP bonus. You need to get 13 rolls in 24 hours to turn a profit. Might be a good way to raise my RP level, I'm at nearly 400k now.

I cant criticise, I very nearly fell victim to the same thing.  I bet zero above the 9000 price which is foolish because the odds were great, even better and the price absolutely did goto 9400 in the hours before contest close so I was randomly lucky.    I cant have been thinking because it takes very little stake at high odds to place enough to win back all your other stakes ie. come out with no loss no gain, on worse/outlier outcome.

You may think that it is hard to get new affiliates but I have been around for a while and I have been doing affiliate advertisement for years, I can tell you that there is always people out there you can find. The point is to actually know where to look for people. I have always advertised this place on "free bitcoin" places, like actually put money on places that usually poor people join in, we do not have too much advertisement banners, I really hope that we will get new and better banners one day, but after we get a lot of new banners, I think you can start focusing on other stuff then just free bitcoin related stuff.

So, all you need to do is go out there, find places that focuses on poor people who would work for free money, and advertise there, you will get results.

Lol reversed lucky number, would be nice if it was 10000. Still 00001 is a rare number to roll here, what did you feel when you watch that rolled number?
