Yeah, it makes sense to just refund people in this case, because of the implications of Tyson bettors getting less. Normally if it was just "everyone gets equal shares" type of situation in regular bets, that would have been viable, but this is basically just a refund situation.

I however really admire both fighters, they are 50+ years old and they went the distance and they both fought like it was nothing, they didn't looked gassed and beat at the end, they looked like they could have gone few more rounds at least. Being able to fight at that age with that high quality is a very very difficult thing, even if you are Tyson or Jones, it is still incredibly difficult. I admire their work ethic and the way they got ready for an exhibition match, hopefully everyone comes out happy about it.

The same as the Romain Grosjean bets, nothing. In parimutuel betting, it wouldn't be fair to the other bettors that placed their bets based on what was in the prize pool at the time to remove anything from that prize pool. If you bet early to get a higher time weight multiplier then you also take a greater risk of circumstances changing before the event happens. The same thing could happen to another driver if they have a bad crash in practice and can't participate on race day.
In the event of an unlisted replacement driver winning the race then all bets will be refunded.

I placed the same bets as you for the bitcoin price, but all with equal stakes, so I am in loss  . Final odd for the range 17,501$ - 20,000$ was also only 1.62.
But new month, new chances, I will wait a little bit longer this month before placing the bets  .

Going forward freebitco.in can either include a draw option for such events or just refund the amount just as they did it this time. Seems fair and logical.  

We usually do include the draw option but when draws are very unlikely we sometimes use the 50% of bet odds option instead. It was just an oversight in forgetting to write that bit in decision logic section this time.

How does that work out ?
Suppose I placed a bet of 0.001 BTC and at the end the odds are 1.5
Now assuming it was a draw, if you payout 50% of the odds that would yield 0.75
So 0.001 BTC x 0.75 = 0.00075 BTC

Isn't that less than the actual bet itself ?

Before I deposit to app, I saw a text (under the "Redeem all RP bonuses") about VPN/Proxy support. After I deposit to account, I do not see it anymore. Also, I do not see such an option in "Rewards" section (as bonus).

In the case of draw when there's 50% payout rule, you will lose money if you have bet on an outcome with odds lower than 2.
In my opinion, if this rule has been mentioned before people make the bet, it's fair. Those who have bet on the more likely outcome lose money and those have bet on the less likely outcome win money.
