So the top prize in the latest lottery winner is 0.1 BTC which is roughly $5000 worth of bitcoin. I never really did calculations here, but for sure I know the amount of prize in btc is reducing over the years. Does anyone know what the maximum prize money used to be (in USD equivalant) it ever was for 1st place win in lottery?

I briefly checked the results of the lottery rounds for this year, and it seems that the maximum prize was in round 292. It was in early January, and some lucky guy won ~$10k for first place, considering that the bitcoin exchange rate was ~$32k at that time.

Nice finds, buddy. I think the "smart" way to play and win on casinos, including on lottery like here, is to collect sats at all prices, and hope you win big during bear markets. Happy I gambled most of my RPs and balances during low price periods too. Those sats really become worth something every bull run like now.

Just wish I'd also been smarter about actually NOT losing them as often;)

Just keep doing the freerolls in bear and bull markets to accumulate some satoshis. I only participate in the lottery with the tickets I win with the WOF but you never know you can get lucky.
I am approaching the 100k RP so that's an extra 100k satoshi in the pocket  .

There's nothing in the news that can explain the drop, but, actually, the decline isn't that big, such things happen all the time. With 5 days left till the end of August, I still hope to win one of my bets

With some luck the price will still end in the 50,001$ to 52,500$ range. I think the chances are slim that the price would spike up to 65,000$ but with crypto you never know!

Thanks but they didn't mention anything about what happens after u sell... All they said is that "the longer you hold the tokens, the greater the benefits will be"
So if you have held for years and have reached max benefits and later decide to sell some tokens for whatever reason.
 When u later buy tokens again, does the fact that u didn't have for a short while mean that your premium membership days has to reset to zero. This part is not mentioned on the site you referred to, hence my question

I think yes.The moment you sell your tokens after 24 hours when they do the recalculation you lose the premium benefits,this is understandable as they say the moment you buy a certain number of tokens the minimum being 2500 you start your Premium Membership immediately up to 24 hours as a maximum (you receive the free daily spins in wheel of fortune).Everything is explained in the Premium tab in the Freebitco.in website.
Personally I will sell the coins when they reach like 0.5-0.6 USD for a coin and not before,right now I am buying a couple of tokens every day.

I think it's common sense that if you sell the tokens for any reason, then your premium benefits will expire for those tokens that you no longer hold.

Each premium tier purchase is treated separately, if purchased at different dates.

For example, I bought some FUN tokens for the first tier, and then a month later I bought some more tokens to reach the next tier and those two premium tiers are treated differently, since they were purchased at different times with different start dates. They each have their own timeline and calendar.

If I were to sell half of my FUN tokens, then I assume that I would lose my current premium tier, but I would still have the premium benefits from my first tier.

If I were to sell all of my FUN tokens, then I assume that I would lose premium membership completely and would not have any premium benefits, until I decide to buy some FUN tokens again and enter a tier, at which point I would start all over again, from day 1.

So, in other words, it's probably a dumb idea for somebody to sell all of their FUN tokens, if somebody is looking to retain their premium benefits.

If you go into the premium tab on freebitco and click on premium membership details, you will see the details for each premium benefit tier that you currently hold if purchased on different dates.

For example, mine currently says - LEVEL 1 - 129       -       LEVEL 2  - 88

You can see that I purchased my second round of FUN tokens and entered the second tier 41 days after I first joined level 1.

It seems that those who bet on these ranges(45-47,5-50) can still lose because BTC's price has increased by $2.5k in the last 24 hours, and now it's more than $49k again. So it is worth noting that the market's mood is changing fast from downtrend to uptrend, but $65k-70k until the end of August still seems unreal.
