For the fun of it, i'm gonna bet short on BTC. Because i suspect many will bet on long, and if by some random chance my side wins, gonna be a nice payout
How do you bet short or bet long here? I don't understand There is no such thing as "sides" like you say, you can only bet on $2500 price ranges. $45,001 - $47,500, $47,501 - $50,000, $50,001 - $52,500, etc. So please share a screenshot of your bet to show us on which range(s) you've bet on precisely.

To be honest the support instructions about signing message from the address on the profile seems a bit ambiguous in my opinion, because there will be two addresses listed there namely the deposit address (obviously you won't be able to sign the message with this) and the withdrawal address(1). The other external addresses(2) if different from address 1 are addresses that were used to fund your freebitcoin account before the email change (refer to the support instructions). Both addresses 1 and 2 above, you can sign messages with these addresses if you have the privkey.

It's the withdrawal address that was registered with the account or otherwise previously confirmed as valid. If you an sign a message from the current withdrawal address on file, then you essentially prove ownership of the account and can change the email settings. From FBC's perspective, someone trying to illegitimately gain access to the account will request the email change so they can access the account and change the withdrawal address. Signing a message of the current withdrawal address is how you confirm that a change of email address is by the actual owner of the account, and not someone trying to take it over.

You could bet on ranges from as low as 5,000$ or less, so I guess this is what btcltcdigger is meaning with going short. I will, as always, be waiting a little bit longer before placing any bet, too much can still happen at this moment (in both directions).

...//...: There are good odds there. It will be that 15 "ecological" days are coming !! It seems that at least the historical forecasts indicate the opposite, but we are in a time of changes and at some point September will have to be different or not yet, I understand then why these attractive odds they look so flashy.

If you're right it would be interesting to know how btcltcdigger has allocated his money to avoid finishing at loss if the price doesn't fall under 40k$, and to manage to get a "nice payout" as he claims. Because it represents 12 ranges to cover on the whole (and 12 ranges on the other "side").

Hopefully i get to win some day I've been stacking lottery tickets like crazy with standard rolling and WOF, but so far no dice for me (pun intended). Rolex would be nice as well Well, I have also had that same hope since 2017, I have seen that more people enter to play on Freebitco.in so the demand on the platform is much higher, which means that the chances of winning decrease, however I have seen how many buy too many tickets and although they have a good percentage of advantage over the others they do not win, in my case I have always bought very few, in reality it is negligible, sometimes I only buy a single ticket, but this is a lottery, it is not known When good luck can touch you and win, so do not give up, and enjoy the trip, at the least expected moment you will win.

For the fun of it, i'm gonna bet short on BTC. Bet on zero and you would win zero in effect a pointless bet, its a funny depreciating pay for betting lower. Better to be optimistic and if we did rise the worth is greater also. I'm sure this concept might even make someone good at maths wonder how to account for it within the nominal odds to risk ratio because its not as even as it might appear between the two outcomes. Of course we could just touch lower for the last day of the month then double the next day, its impossible to say for sure. Or if you had a certain BTC liability in similar time scale, it also makes more sense then too. We saw a sell recently from a top, it matched a channel or trend and if I extrapolate that out to end of month it reads 57,258 for the best case scenario in higher probability range, of course just another guess.

Signing a message of the current withdrawal address is how you confirm that a change of email address is by the actual owner of the account, and not someone trying to take it over. That's correct. There is only one profile address that is used as the default withdrawal address and the user should set that to be their own wallet. I can also accept a signed message from any address previously used to deposit to the account as ownership of those addresses proves beyond doubt that it is the original owner.
2021.02.04 I use my binance account withdrawal to freebitcoin account. Maybe I can use my binance account withdrawal some amount again to Prove that freebitcoin is my own.and to remove my 2FA code. Is this okay?
Due to the fact that you used Binance wallet to transfer funds to freebitco.in, it is obvious that you can't sign the address because that wallet is not owned by you. Explain that to freebitco.in support and, as TheBeardedBaby suggested in that other topic, ask the support whether sending a small amount of btc from the Binance will be accepted as a proof of ownership. Just to be clear, I'm NOT freebitco.in support, I am part of their marketing campaign on this forum but I am not authorized to speak on their behalf nor do I have the power to solve your problem. I'm just trying to help. Thanks for your help FatFork but I have explained to them through the support email that because they didn't either keep a secure backup of their 2fa secret key or use their own wallet and therefore can't sign a message from an address linked to the account they can't recover the account. This has been going on for many weeks but they just think that if they keep asking the same questions over and over again the answers will magically change.

So how should I do next ?
I think you could send a Bitcoin transaction to your FreeBitco.in account by looking at your Binance transaction history to retrieve your FreeBitco.in deposit address. Use your own Bitcoin address for this second transaction. Sign this transaction and maybe it will provide enough confidence for support to remove your 2fa. Remember that 2fa is for your protection and a website just removing your 2fa actually puts you at risk. So be thankful for their security. Good luck!

The signed message needs to come from an address previously linked to the account. The reason people use 2fa is that it secures their Freebitcoin account in the event of their email account getting hacked. Without 2fa someone who has control of your email account can reset the password, authorise their login and authorise their withdrawal. They also will have access to all the old emails we sent you confirming your deposits and withdrawals so they'll know all the relevant addresses.

I see. Thanks for the explanation. It all began with an innocent question about how to sign an address in that other topic. I wasn't aware of these facts.

I have sent a screenshot of my transfer record from Binance in February this year. I also said that I can send a small amount of Bitcoin again. Besides these, I really don’t know what else to do? The reply they gave was that I cannot sign, so I am not the account holder. How should I do?

The problem is that I used my email address when I registered in January of this year. Where can I get the private key of 17JYPKSeSmVrzBeqSi6NWZUGeBPDMJmpg3 now? ? ? My phone was lost and I cannot login my account. I have also tried many times and cannot sign with this account. Because I don't have a private key. You mean it can’t be solved, right? The funds inside are just lost, right?

Well honestly that would be the case of it. The only thing you can prove that its your wallet is by providing a signed message which you can only do if you have an access to that wallet, that's why securing your account is the first thing you should do if you will be transferring some big amounts to gambling site or to any investment platform.

Got it. But I have a suggestion if "sign a message" in is the ultimate method of Freebitcoin account recovery. There should be a warning that users use a signable address or have its private key or something on the "change withdrawal address" page. Because some users may not be very familiar with the basic technicalities of bitcoin, and only use a centralized wallet for the rest of their lives. The problem is that I used my email address when I registered in January of this year. Where can I get the private key of 17JYPKSeSmVrzBeqSi6NWZUGeBPDMJmpg3 now? ? ? If it comes from a centralized wallet or exchange, you can't. And yes, you can't use your account (play or withdraw money) because you can't prove ownership of the account.
