Provably fair is literally "provably" fair. It is not "that is what we assume it is", it is literally "you can check it whenever you want and see that you are not getting scammed". People who still think that a casino is scamming them in this day and age when we have literal provable data that shows that casinos can't scam you, sounds really like a person who has no idea what is going on.

No the casino didn't scam you, you just hit an unlucky streak and lost your money, it happens, it happened to all of us, you will get used to. Instead of accepting the reality of the situation, trying to create an imaginary situation where you get scammed otherwise you would never lose that much, will only hurt you longer, doesn't really impact the casino or other gamblers.

Provable fairness means you should be able to mathematically prove the result of a bet. It does not mean you cannot get scammed. Provably fair is not infallible because it can be exploited or as was the case with Coinpot's multiplier game they can just make up any result they want and hope people aren't bothering to verify each roll.

I respect the thesis and write up but i doubt the word fair should be in the statement. Instead of provably fair it should just be tagged provable because Once something is used for exploitation, the fact that it can be proven is insufficient to make said exploitation a fair act.

Roll through 10,000 bets and compare the balance before and after. If you bet 10,000 times for 1 sat you will lose 1,500 sat at the end (10,000*15% = 1,500) not 500 sat (10,000*5% = 500)

You are right to be suspicious of any unofficial programs or apps. They could easily be stealing your login credentials. There's not much point in having an app if you can't put it on Google Play and Apple App Store. Both of their terms of service are restrictive on Gambling sites.

You are right, the same user id has one 3rd place in lottery twice in a row, in round 335 and 336. However, considering the fact that said user had millions of tickets i.e approx 3 mill and 5 mill in the two rounds respectively, then it isnt unlikely for them to win. Though what i find funny is the fact that they won the same position twice and two times in a row

Nah, I had made those assumptions too on some of the previous lottery draws and had come to the conclusion that it is just pure coincidence. The thing is, when a whale or even someone that are not a whale... wins something on here... they tend to re-create that win and they keep on buying more and more tickets. (So they become regulars)

You will find that there are not a lot of people that are playing the lottery with a sh1tload of tickets every draw.. it is just the same people trying every week. (A lot of them have a huge referral network)

Yes, considering the amount of tickets the user had, it isn't really surprising. Hopefully he didn't buy all the tickets since the lottery amount won is less than the total value of the tickets.

Done ✔ I didn't change the client seed, I used the default one. It represents 10 000 bets on Hi in a row. And as expected I only lost around 500 sats (554 precisely) at the end. I don't know what is wrong with you, but I don't believe you anymore when you claim you always get 15% of loss.

Yes, considering the amount of tickets the user had, it isn't really surprising. Hopefully he didn't buy all the tickets since the lottery amount won is less than the total value of the tickets.

I wanted to check if he has a lot of referrals, but on the stats page everything is linked to a part of the BTC adress and not to the user ID. The guy just has a lot of luck for finishing 2 weeks in a row at the third place, even though he has quite a lot of tickets.

I think it's typo now we all have November 2 and this contest is going to end November 30 not October 31 hopefully they will correct this or post new add about this.

That is what I meant as well. Provably fair is "provable" is literally that thing we are talking about. I mean if you are getting scammed then it should be proven that way too, if it is fair then it should be proven that way too, there is really no middle ground. If you are scammed and you can't prove it, then it is not provably fair, or even if you win and you can't prove it then it is not provably fair. That is the biggest and greatest achievement of blockchain tech made for gambling world.

Imagine a system where nobody can scam anyone without letting it be fully obvious, it is not just that you can't be scammed, you can be but in other places you were already getting scammed, whereas in crypto gambling world you can't just get scammed and have no proof of scam that you may go to press or forums, here we do have that and if anyone ever tries to scam then it will be provable.
