Yeah, since some time ago I'm getting my lottery tickets only from the WoF spins. I'm not buying them(although I used to in the past) and I've even disabled getting free lottery tickets with my free rolls in favour of Reward Points.

Last time there were 1,151,098 Golden Tickets and the main prize was 4.910 BTC.
In the last lottery (#377) there were 188,863,611 tickets and the main prize was 0.128 BTC. Which means that because chance was 164 times smaller, the prize to be "attractive in a similar way" should be 21BTC.
It clearly shows that GT is more attractive as potential reward per ticket is bigger.

You should consider the big difference between golden ticket price and weekly lottery ticket price as well.
Each golden ticket costs 25000 satoshi while each weekly lottery tickets costs only 1 satoshi.

In the last round of weekly lottery, you could have around 0.013% chance to win 0.128 BTC with paying the same amount.

You do well to calculate or consider the main prize of the weekly lottery as that is a nice amount.I never thought as deep for the weekly lottery,that spending 25.000 Satoshi each week on lottery tickets instead of a single GT ticket every week my chances would be 162 times higher,this is making me rethink.I never bought these last couple of weeks a single lottery ticket thinking that who am I to be in the top ten out of near 50 million users and this kept me without buying.I will make sure this week to spend maybe 12.500 Satoshis in tickets although I don't expect anything,chances in both lotteries are extremely slim as you are against near 50 million other people and to win in such scenario you need a huge amount of luck above all.

Very good calculations, interesting point of view. You are right, I completely ignored ticket price (as I do not plan to buy any). But what you shown, the chances in weekly lottery you "buy" for the cost of single GT, that's a very good remark...
I think GT main prize makes the game more demanding, while weekly lottery is a very "secondary" kind of event. Maybe as swogerino wrote, that's where the chance is.

Now we have Verstappen (1.35), Leclerc (4.89) and Hamilton (9.34). I am not sure if Verstappen's odds and the way how he leads betting really corresponds to chances in the race. 4.89 seems to be a little too big, as for the second option, no?
Last year race was a (sad) parody, this year it seems it will not rains and we will see a "normal" race. Spa is a fast track, I think Ferrari are underestimated.

You get it by gambling anyway, so I gamble anyway and I get it. This isn't just regular weekly neither, you get golden tickets as well which goes for lambo which is of course a small chance but it is good to have. What people do not realize that if you combined the weekly lotteries and the 10 prizes they give away, that is usually nearly as much as the lambo when you combine it all.

I guess not many people here care much about Rugby compared to the Premier League and F1 betting,these are the two main events of the weekend and I am sure most people would like to bet on either F1 or Premier League compared to the Rugby sport.

I have the same logic in my mind because for me it doesn't make any sense to buy lottery tickets when you are getting it free of cost.
People have won lottery with just a single digit number and people haven't won't anything despite holding more than 50k lottery tickets.
So it doesn't really make any sense to buy lottery tickets unless you have some spare load of money which you can spend lavishly.

Interesting fact but again let’s not forget about the chances of winning. Lambo is hardest bet on freebitcoin while free roll is the risky free one. Indeed it is for the whales, because big gamblers are going to own most golden tickets on the competition, with 1 GT being rewarded every 500,000 satoshis wagered on multiplier or events. The guys on top 10 daily wagered amount are going to have tons of GTs, against average users who have a dozen of tickets on best hypothesis.
