This is the second post in this forum that tackles about the counterattack of cryptocurrency against those who are against it. This may sound funny but many crypto enthusiasts are hoping that this news could lit again the fire that is needed by bitcoin to increase again in value. Many groups are expecting for bitcoin to be back at 10k$ to 12k$ by April despite of those fake news that says bitcoin will fall to 2800$ this year. If this good news will spread then the prediction of 10k$ possibly will come true by next month.

I don't believe that this demand has much future. Google, Facebook and Twitter are private companies that can decide what kind of ads they allow and which ones they don't, in fact they could prohibit any type of advertising if they wanted.

There will be no pump untill the majority of the get rich quick noobs have been shaken out, accept that. Dumb money needs to exit first, and then re-enter at way higher levels, and then get shaken off again, that's how this market works. I don't even understand why people keep fussing about the crypto ads, that for +90% were being utilized by schemes and other low level garbage.

Yes, this news can definitely move the market in a positive direction. But this case will go to court in May, which means it can last very long and we will see the results very far in time. 
But it is still a good news

i still don't understand why they are even talking about this! suing a bunch of centralized platforms for not allowing certain advertisements on their platform is just silly.
i say it is something like me suing the signature campaign manager because he doesn't accept posts in certain boards of this forum!!!

if you don't like it, then don't use it. "boycott" is invented for these cases. but the problem is, ban of ICO ads is not even a bad thing. everyone can agree to it.

And yeah., anyway we know that crypto is still on its beautiful journey, and not just that news only, maybe there are many other things that will push it towards the more positive side again and move the price higher. We know, sometimes the unconscious things., often to happens in the crypto world also its development among the various countries.

It is interesting to see on what will be the outcome of this. This facebook and google are using their powers to manipulate the market, banning those cryptocurrency ads even cryptocurrency businesses is not illegal in some countries. Yeah i understand that there are lots of scam ICO but cant those platforms refine those ads that is being published in their websites and just block those phishing and scam crowd funding. I want to see how those giants will respond to this.

I think that this attempt will not yield a positive result. But attention to crypto currency will attract.

Some of the crypto ads were used by ICOscams and some shady schemes, some others ads were actually from legit busisness, so there's a bit of a grey in this all matter. First, these big corporations are not allowing cryptos (and new techonologies behind cryptos) get the exposure they need in order to grow. On ther other hand, facebook and google are not obligated to allow the advertising of ICOs /crypto ads and I believe for the most they're just trying to protect their users rather than trying to hurt the cryptosphere. I don't know if this is good news or not, but it'll interesting to see how this whole thing develops and if the outcome will have an effect on the market.

These three private companies are depends on the USA government. But USA is against in Crypto platform because Bitcoin is not a US related cryptocurrency so these kind of regulations are already expected in the market.
But still all the crypto related Ads are telecaste in the Google, Facebook and Twitter. I think is not implement in current scenario.

Those are privately held corps. For their benefit, they can do whatever they want. Free advertising is not guaranteed by constitution

you are right about your assumptions, this is how the market is working at the moment.
as long as the market is working like that it will grow at a slow rate and pump dump its way up. but every dump will always have the potential to pop the bubble.

we could chance that cicle, what it we could turn the dump money into smart money instead of just "shaking them out" as you said. we need the infrastructure to welcome the newbies in a simple, intuitive and friendly environment. A evironment where we can teach them how to become smart money.

that might create a positive feedback loop that might let the market grow with a even higher exponential rate.

Despite of the ban and regulations imposed by the government in cryptocurrency still, they acknowledge crypto as a valuable coin in our economy. The g20 convention proves that cryptocurrency has a legality to access all over the world.

I think it is a good sign that associations are pro cryptocurrencies and sees that banning is not the only way and step that could let bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies exist. For sure there are plans made for it and for betterment of its use. I just hope that the argument  would not lead to more destruction and banning of cryptos instead more development and investment of institution for further growth and involvement of cryptocurrenciesin economical growth of countries.
