Why did you decide to create such platform in the form of microservices? Will such approach have any particular advantages?

Our team has experience in the development and implementation of medical systems and is quite familiar with the limitations and complexities. I would not say that these are microservices, this is a road map of development, which we have chosen and step by step we plan to increase the functionality of the platform. We go step by step to the full functionality. If the question is about the software architecture - the use of micro-services instead of a monolithic application, then we just create a monolithic architecture, but we divide it into segments, this architecture can not be called a microservice architecture.
