Monero Original team has announced support for the original Monero blockchain that will be kept and running after the Monero hard fork scheduled for the 6th of April 2018 at block #1546500. Every user holding Monero on their XMR wallet that support Monero original will receive the equal number of XMO coins. Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/monero-original-support-original-monero-blockchain/Why are these Original and not Original? I see people say monero will replace bitcoin? Sorry to say this about monero but the truth is the truth and we can't avoid it, bitcoin can not be replaced by monero. Even though it has been a time since monero is available in the market, bitcoin is older and is leading the market. And I think that bitcoin will lead the market in the future, what can monero do is to be increased more than it is now.

Is it possible to mine this coin?
You will not mine coin that can be mined with ASIC. Just mine Monro you can mine it with your CPU or GPU. The point making Monero ASIC resistant was to be again able to be mined by regular people with regular computers.

Um...ok, yay?
I guess people will be excited to get "free money". Kind of like the crazy bitcoin forks craze last november.
But I fail to see how this is beneficial at all. The reason why monero is the greatest privacy coin is because of the active development it has gotten. The community is great and there has always been consensus which has allowed for it to become what it is.
Now, a bunch of people still doing the original monero blockchain (it isn't the entirely original one btw) is the first sign of a split in the community. Granted, it is minor and doesn't seem contested, but community consensus has been one of the strongest points of monero.
Of course, blockchain is open source and there is no patent or anything to it so people are free to do what they like. Just look at electroneum, all they did was hardfork the monero blockchain and called it their own. In the end, the community will decide what to support.

More Monero coins appears more difficult they can be mined in the future.

I havent understand what’s the difference between Monero Original hard fork and original Monero coin.
The point is that Monero Original fork is running on 0.11.0.0 protocol and original Monero coin has switched to the new version of 0.12.0.0 protocol.

Link deleted in thread. I havent understand what’s the difference between Monero Original hard fork and original Monero coin.

Why does Monero Original use the old version of the protocol? Many users don’t like updated protocol, so the idea of fork is to support original blockchain. What’s wrong with the new version of the protocol? Nothing wrong but for asic mining new version not can be used. Only previous. That's why bitmain friends make fork. From reddit cool post: I’ve already claimed my Monero Gold, Monero Teal, Monero Ultron, Monero Classic, Monero Black, Monero Black++, Monero Monero and New Monero, can I still claim my Monero Classic? Not yet. Wait. The team will write about listing on their blog/site. But I think XMO never will be the same as the parent. Because XMR is main. Other are alts

Yes, it is. The level of privacy was increased significantly and it’s cool.
