Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

the best way to fight a thing is to create something of its alternative like btc that created an alternative of money and is fighting the real money, so maybe a true social media based on blockchain without intends of skimming would be a good idea to fight those.

That is right, that is the best way that we can do and that is not to panic at all, we need each other now to unite as one so that some of the people will not gonna discourage about it.

It was just announced that Twitter has confirms ban on crypto ads starting from today. It follows the steps took by FB earlier.
Google is going to do so in June.

Is there any effect to us?
And what should we do aside of keep calm and do not rushed into panic selling?

We gotta fight for this. But how?
What's your opinion?

I think these bans as reasons why crypto price now in down trend, lot of people are scared to see the news of bans. Before G-20 meeting, people are worried in crypto for ban from Government and now people are actually scared by ban from fb, tweeter and next is google. With the growing community of cryptocurrencies, I think this is the good time to create  competitors for them and encourage crypto space to grow.

What you are describing is an impossibility, if all the media started banning any kind of ads related to cryptocurrencies there is no doubt that the market will suffer, but bitcoin is not going to die for such a small thing bitcoin is by far the strongest and most well known cryptocurrency so while the effects will be there at the beginning we will just find another way to get people to know about bitcoin and the best thing is that when the price begins to go up again and bitcoin begins to break its previous all time high the banning of cryptocurrency ads is going to be irrelevant since the name of bitcoin will be all over the Internet.

The fact that these social media will banned ads related to the crypto currencies should not affect us. It will surely have an impact on the market, but it will not be a major part of it. So we should not worry so much.  Smiley

well it would affect the interest of new people who would like to learn more about crypto because we all know that social media is the easiest medium to grab information when you need one and links can be easily found here in facebook and twitters that's why other ICO's are investing their attention and time in this social media. we cannot fight it because when this social media decide to filter out such information they have control over it but if major issues can be raise then maybe they can hear our concern.

These news were announced a long time ago and I do not think they have much influence on the market. They may even be useful as they will reduce scammed ICO projects.  Huh

Dude you're so late with the news. Than ban should NOT be a problem. Not even a bit. All the scams getting removed is a very good thing.

-whatever they do some application will be used again to advertise cryptos and that was way back the history, so no need to panic.

Twitter as well as Facebook and Google, and some other services such as Mailchimp are preventing crypto outfits expanding, also stopping the scams, once these fizzle out with regulation, then the good organisations will prevail and 'full crypto' will not be a cliché but actually be upon us!

i think thats ok becourse they have there advertise traffic allready.
And ally Crpotyadvertisers can go to trusted CoinAdnetworks like http://coinad.com/ , https://coinzilla.io/  http://mellowads.com/
and there are many more ....ICQ s and all other coin advertisers should use them more....

Lol, why to panic and for what to panic?
Because google, facebook and twitter bans crypto adverts? And don't you think that it's even good? A lot of people were scammed because of those ads.
Also on another hand it's comercially very beneficial for this forum and this will also bring us more wide community, in fact a monopoly in online crypto world.

I am not getting why people are overreacting on the news of these social websites banning crypto ads. I mean, this is good news. People would be less prone to falling in traps of criminals or ICO scams. What’s bad in this? Relax and think positively.

Simple, the reason many people are worried about this is because they like to invest in icos and with all these banning of cryptocurrencies ads from social media then this means that their profits are going to diminish or that their previous profits will turn into losses, this is not going to affect everyone those that relied mostly on bitcoin as a way to save their money and to hold for a long term will be mostly unaffected, this is why you see such different answers, some people are really worried while other people are not really worried at all.

All these restrictions are temporary! Of course, it's not very pleasant that social networks prohibit advertising of the cryptic market! but there is good news: more and more countries are opening their doors and starting to accept and implement blocking. It's a pity that such messages are pouring into the market .. Everyone starts to panic ..

In business those people who are the main lead are the whole who understand fully the matters. Rumours spread all over the world but actually we can still site the advertisement advertise in social media. Maybe there are things to negotiate between the involve person of both sides so that they can improve whatsoever that needed to improve for the sake of investors. Of course the main reason is to prevent the scam promotion in social media. And to promote the legit ICO with equivalent price in every moment that their picture will shown.

We all know that our traditional banking sector will soon go into extinct so the same thing will happen to facebook, twitter and google if they refused to move with the trend of technology. We will soon have blockchain oriented social medias.

It could be a good thing. Instead of letting yourself be swayed by different ads in different place, you can go to the legit place and see the read, genuine ads, which is here, on the forum.

It is a good thing. Scammers will decrease and it's the advertisements that are banned not the cryptocurrency or the bitcoin itself. Facebook stated that ‘misleading and deceptive promotional practices' because there are still some people who believe that cryptocurrencies are illegal and a bad thing for the economy.
