Bounty rewards are given as a return for promoting a project during their ico, so you are not required to pay anything in fact you deserved to be paid either in btc, eth or the tokens of the said project, so if someone is asking for money to send you bounty coins then he is scamming you.

Moderator on where?

I would tell you this if someone do ask you money just to claim your bounty then its a complete scam. As a bounty hunter for how many campaigns theres no such thing that someone would ask you money for you to claim your tokens since you deserve such rewards for promoting them.I would like to ask which bounty program you are talking on? So that people would be aware regarding to this one.Just remember, not to send any amounts to that someone.

I haven't been on a bounty where participant are required to pay a certain amount to get what they earned. Bounties are given as payment, so there's no sense for bounty hunters to pay what they have earned. I think it's a scam. Can you please tell us more about the details of the bounty. You can post a link here.

Why do you lose your money then you pay them Perhaps the scam might be in your favor, so you say, that you pay, first before giving the reward.

No ! That is absolutely BS ! You work for them, and they pay you. Not the opposite. You are supposed to get paid and not paying something. It is like when you are currently looking for job, but when you find one, they ask you for some money. That is obviously a SCAM and fraud ! Never trust someone like that. I never pay any money when I do bounty campaign, or signature campaign. I have earn so much money from this forum, but I never pay anything to anyone in this forum. So please, get realistic and be careful. Do not get fooled by those people. It is an old scheme and you should not fool yourself.

Where were you asked to do this, is it via PM or is it posted on the official bounty thread? This is one of the weirdest scams no one should ever fall. It is given that in this world of crypto and bounty hunting, there will be those projects you won't be paid for but for this one, this is shockingly funny. Don't be fooled.

That is totally scam bounty. As far as I know we join bounty campaign for us to be paid for promoting their projects and ICO and not us to be paid them. At first what if you give them the amount of bitcoin they asking and they give you the token but what if the token is such a shitcoin ? no value ? that is very wrong, never join to that bounty bro.

I would be careful with bounties like that. What good reason would they have to ask money from you? They are supposed to be rewarding you for services you have completed for them. Is it logical to pay your employer just to get your salary?

Please let us know which bounty it is so we can avoid everybody associated with that bounty. Bounty manager would be a good start, but also the "team" members who are trying to scam you. It would go a long way, and sorry that you unfortunately ran into this situation Undecided.

so you were saying that we will get our wage after we finish the work and paying the fees ?
before you did the job, what is their offer ?
logically speaking, the majority will tell you to work for them until the ICOs/certain time finish.
and they will distribute your shares based on your work.
but if they were asking you to send some sum of money before you get your shares(written on their offer),nothing wrong with it.
it's all about your agreement with him/her.
so the problem is,what is their offer ?
if you could not see it on their offer, more likely it was a scam attempt

it's a big NO. You are doing bounty campaign to earn in exchange to some jobs. There is no need to pay to claim what you ear from that. If that's the case it's a scam. Never heard of bounty campaign asking for payment but they are giving rewards.

Take this advice.

Any time you have to pay for something that's free to you; it's a scam. Look at all the emails / phone calls asking for money in order to send you your jackpot winnings, or your great grandparent's leftover fortune. I mean, those are above and beyond obvious scams, but the point is there still the same.

as I do not have a bounty program asking us to pay btc,
because to follow it does not need any cost could be it is a fraud who on behalf of the bounty

you try to clarify again this problem to the bounty provider is it true like that

because I too have experienced it but I was asked to give my private wallet wallet and I tried to calrificate the problem

as far as I know to claim our prizes just waiting for them to come into our wallet, we are not in need to pay, because it is our right to help do the project campaign.
if we are in order to pay first? can be sure it is a cheat.

Its a scam be careful. We dont need to pay to get the bounty rewards because we deserves it for promoting their project thus if someone is asking you to pay first then think carefully because they are trying to scam you.

I agree its too obvious, why would someone have to pay to claim their prices/rewards? its just funny if you think about it. Indeed people will do everything to fool others.

are you given a guarantee, when a gift campaign happens something like a failure if that happens does your money back? you are a participant so use common sense to choose some good gift campaigns. so that your work is not in vain and loss. you are entitled to success if you are good at choosing a gift campaign well.

Sounds like sheer bullshit to me. Why would they want you to pay them for you to advertise for them? Don't send them money. Participate in a bounty that is legit. Take Darico.io for example.
