This project is quite clear and transparent. Since launching this project has attracted investors to participate and it will be successful in the future.

The KLEROS-Blockchain project is of interest. I will not be surprised if he can achieve implementation and will be successful.

We sure hope so too.
The use cases for our protocol are huge. As the blockchain ecosystem grows, we hope to expand with it.
Keep up-to-date with us via Telegram or our Slack if you want to discuss further.
Thanks

are your IICO program was started and will be ending by 15 May, or will start on 15 may? if i read your explanation this IICO thing was unique and could be revolutioning and more attractive than traditional ICO.

Our first round of token sale is similar to a private sale in the sense that it will be the first time the tokens will be sold. Unlike most token sales which privately sell their coins at a deep discount, you'll get the first price. But that is not linked to IICO. The interest of IICO is that you give a max valuation and if this max valuation is exceeded, you get refunded. For example you say that the 16% of the first round are worth 1 600ETH (price completely randoms for the sake of the argument) and put 100 ETH in it. If the valuation at the end of the sale is 5000 ETH, you get your 100 ETH back. If the valuation is 1000 ETH, you get 1M PNK (assuming that everyone placed their bid in the full bonus phase).

This is indeed a good vision.. Just one question though, how the project counter people that might bribe the jury?
Bribing is the really hard for solving dispute resolution. Bribing is prevented by: - Jurors losing coins if they vote incoherently, so if they think the others are not gonna accept the bribe, the bribe must excess the loss of tokens for incoherence.
- Parties can appeal if they believe that the result of a ruling is the result of a bribe.
- With sufficient appeals, everyone gets (statistically to be a juror), if the majority of token holders accepts the bribe the value of their coins will dramatically drop as no one will ever want their contracts to be arbitrated by the corrupted court. This is a 51% attack quite similar to those in PoS systems. The value in the disputes of the attacker must exceed the loss of coin value. Moreover the attacker (or the attacking cartel) must have 51% of the tokens which is quite hard. Paying half the market price is not enough as it would increases the price in response due to market depth effects.
- Moreover, even if a 51% attack were to be successful, honest parties can fork, remove the attackers tokens in the new fork. New users would use the honest fork.
You can look a bit at the Devcon presentation and the white paper at pages 8 - 10.

Yes we're hoping it's a marked change in the way ICO's are participated in. We look to tie in our project milestones to future rounds and feel this method gives a much clearer prospect to potential contributors. I think it's fair to say many ICO's have taken in huge amounts of ETH and not really delivered much to show for it. I'm sure they're working hard in the background but it's not great for early contributors when little development is seen.

Hi, do you have a bounty campaign?
Hi, There is a Dev bounty which you can find out more about here https://medium.com/kleros/announcing-kleros-developers-bounty-program-1727d63d327e or join our slack kleros.slack.com to discuss there. We're also actively looking to get some translations done by the community (specifically Russian or Chinese) if that's something you can help with. In regards to community collaborations you will receive Kleros points which will be redeemable for our token (PNK) at the end of our IICO. If you feel there's something you could help with feel free to join our Telegram and we can discuss better there. Thanks!

We've just published a post with more explanation as to why we chose the IICO route and the strategy behind it. We hope you agree with our idea to make token sale models more egalitarian and open to all. https://medium.com/kleros/kleros-token-sale-strategy-explained-9e805de2183bThe model we have chosen for our token sale is a combination of the best of both worlds: multiple rounds and Interactive Initial Coin Offering.
IICO will make sure that all members of the community can enter the sale in equality of conditions.
In the crazy world of ICOs, we want Kleros’ public sale to be a model of fairness, transparency and accountability.

Our CEO Federico Ast talks with Jay Kimmer in Forbes today. Link here“In the 5th century BCE, the Greeks had a different concept of justice than we have now,” Ast explained. “They didn’t have lawyers or judges, but they had the idea that ordinary citizens had a right to judge in a trial.”

I think no doubt if this project will succeed, because this project brought a very nice concept, and I believe that all the teams will be doing something that is best to be able to make this project a success.
