Hi everybody,
I'm new in bitcoin crypto curency and I work hard and learn to understand how can it work;
Recently I buy an Asicminer blade erupter V1 but i received a blade erupter V2 to 300€.
That is good for me or not?? I know part the difference of Blade V1 and blade V2 consist to have non-overclockable mod, PCB in one part, the possibility to ad him to a backplane but what is the most powerful supply, the most praticable ?
Thanks for your answer

for power supply id imagine most will do with 1 blade. if you plan on just having 1 blade anything like a 650w would be plenty try to get single rail (saves alot of trouble with load balancing) 80% or above certificate (all good PSUs have these) if you plan on having 3 or more a higher end PSU would be good
stick with better brands mainly corsair. coolermaster. evga. stuff like that

i hope to have more blade but for the moment i've got 1. Is it better to have the V1 or V2 is the problem I have not connect him because i can change it. what is the better ?

if you want to overclock v1 otherwise v2. id personally go with v2 there a bit more refined and a bit easier to manage its just 1 board and easier still if you get a backplate with a few blades..

I would rather have the v1, since it is easily overclockable. You have to do some soldering on tiny parts to overclock the new blades.
I would rather the v2 if I were planning to order more as well as a backplane...

I'm relatively new to Bitcoin mining and up until this point I've only been mining with the USB Asicminer Block Erupters.
However I'm wanting to try an Asicminer blade and I'm wondering where do I buy the backplanes? To start I just want 1 blade with a backplane. Once I learn the setup and see the performance I would expand from there. Is there a website that I can use to order only the backplanes from? Or do I have to post on the forums and hope and pray someone will sell it to me? Not sure if it matters, but I'm in the US.
Thanks,
Dave

Most resellers that sell blades have backplanes available too. I don't know of any off hand, but I've seen them for sale in the marketplace here very recently. Blades seem to sell for .8 or less now too You don't need a backplane to start mining with a blade, and if you wanted you could start with one blade and order the backplane when you order more blades. If you've got an extra ATX power supply around you can run the blade just fine.

Yes, You don't need backplane for the moment if you have 1 or 2 blade; I powered mine with an old Dell power supply for optiplex ( 210W) and my blade work pretty fast ( 100,5%) to start the blade you need 1.2V at +- 70W - 80W and 8 - 10A Every thing you need is here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=205369.0Pontiacg5 : were do you find blade for .8 please
