Sorry but for me actual data will matter most so if you will just rely on presumptions and magic then the possibilty of your prediction is very less which means it is impossible to happen. Crypto market will boom again within this year as per prediction by most of the experts with specific details of possibilities but they did not mention of dropping so i think your topic is just to create FUD.

I am thinking that such a decrease of the market cap for all coins will not affect the performance of crypto as a whole. It is still billions so there is really a big chance that we can see new influx of new investors that will help increase the price of crypto for the next few months and the end of 2018 might see new increase of price again.

With the way currencies are lossing value, that is very possible, bitcoin stands at around $6200, and Ethereum has dropped below $200.

It's already expected to have a drop down of market cap because we still experienced the bearish market until today. We can't blame the volatility of the crypto assets and we can do is to wait for the moment when the bull market is going to begin. Right now the market is below 200 billion, I do not know if it's going to go as low as you predict but the possibility is there especially if some of the big altcoins begin to collapse, because even if I think that the price of bitcoin can still go a little bit lower there is going to be a lot of resistance for that to happen, but if some of the big altcoins begin to drop then we may see a market cap close to what you are predicting.

Everything follows cycles and patterns and so does the young crypto market.
None of us can predict where the true bottom of the market will be, but what we can guess and believe is that we are only at the beginning or near a mini-revolution in the world of finance and the economy before, and then in applications and real life everyday.

This is no doubt possible. If a rise of $600 in the value of Bitcoin can rise the market cap by $9billion, any fall in the same way can reduce the market cap by exactly the same amount. Since we have had a fall of more than thousands of dollar, it is not a shock for me to see that the crypto market cap will drop below the 200 billion dollar. However, the market will return its positive vibes again and will contribute to the crypto market cap again.

The market dropped to more than $ 200 billion is normal. The bubble burst and we can not hope much about the high price of the altcoins. I believe that in the future its price will recover and we need to have confidence in this Crypto market. If not, you will miss a big party.

It has been tested a couple of times now. If Bitcoin breaks the resistance of around ~ USD 6.000, we will fall harder, and might even hit 150b MC.

in any case, the figure changes very sharply. But I'm sure that in the near future the market will stabilize and we will see a new influx of investments into the crypto currency, which will increase the capitalization at times.

We will only go up if one of two scenario’s occurs; the influx of new institutional money, or new retail (noob) money. Sadly most of the january/december folks are at a big loss so they are not crypto advocates.
