ETH prices continue to fall below 400. Is this really necessary for ETH to really explode in 2018. Or is this just a bubble?

It's impossible to say whether crypto as a whole is a bubble, but the big drop in the first part of this year did help in the long run I think, as it was starting to exhibit bubble-like tendencies of continuous fast price growth. A longer slower rise with periods of levelling off is much more desirable in terms of long-term price strength.
I think that $800b for the whole market was a bit of a bubble, but now we are around $350b it is not so much of a concern and I am sure we will return to $800b in time.

What makes Ethereum unique is  the ability to code smart contract protocols. Smart contracts help to facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation of a contract. Smart contracts allow any businesses to customize the Ethereum blockchain to fit their desired needs. Also if you visit https://entethalliance.org/ you will find plenty of reasons why ethereum is here to stay.

I dont think so Eth is not a bubble because the demand is there ETHereum smart contract is the most used in Blockchain projects and startups it means the more the demands rises the more the price will be skyrocketed and some external factors also affect the eth price but definately its not a bubble.
For those who have time to understand the potentials will believe that ETH is not a bubble but a project that is useful in coming time, the future ahead of this business will be better for ETH followers, while those who have a lots of doubts and didn't bothered to invest will continue being a cry baby and will keep on denying that they've seen the good progress coming from this project.

Not at all, Ethereum is not a bubble. It is a blockchain based platform for smart contracts. Meaning you can create a company or any blockchain based software and deploy it using ethereum. This has changed the world of information in a drastic way.

The current capitalization of the market has fallen dramatically, we see a large outflow of capital. Obviously, in this condition of the market, the price will fall on all coins.

Yes, it is a bubble like Bitcoin. They are all linked to Bitcoin. Bitcoin rules them all. They sometimes get pumped/dumped individually, but Bitcoin is leading them.

Ethereum and bitcoin are not bubble. They have their own unique feature which makes them to be of very high demand in crypto and the higher the demand, the higher the price and vice versa. The fall in prce may affect it now but as soon as the market recovers, it will rise very high because it has the potentials to increase in price as long as it gets more investors and more companies continues to use it blockchain.

Ethereum matches the definition a bubble more, as on the Ether's blockchain are created a huge number of altcoins, most of which are short-lived, and they increase the price of the Ethereum because they use it for transactions. Bitcoin has a completely different situation.

I never thought Bitcoin and Ethereum were bubbles. Ethereum is an altcoin with solid blockchain foundation, in the future the smart contract will be very helpful. Etereum is a very popular altcoin, so many ICO projects use Ethereum as the platform. Current Ethereum is facing a lot of difficulties, its price constantly falling. However, I think this is only a price fluctuation of Ethereum, it will soon recover. I believe that in the next few years Ethereum will continue to grow and it will have higher value, possibly by the end of this year Ethereum prices will be higher than $ 2500.

Can you tell me the differences? It doesn't make sense at all. But ethereum gets affected by the ico itself. Just like EOS was dumping all of the ethereum to the market to pump its own coin but totally failed.
This time all of crypto can be considered as bubble. Bitcoin was also including on it since the beginning.

Whales manipulate the market. The whole market is falling and Ethereum too.
someone really wants to knock the cryptocurrency out of the last strong hands. it seems to me that after such a correction there should be a good growth, but it is not accurate.

Neither bitcoin or etheruem are bubbles, they are assets and you are the only one who will decide if you are gonna hold it or not, otherwise just leave this forum and that is it. Dont spread fud

Of course not. Many ICOs and coins already on the market are ETH based, so if people will want to invest in ICO or sell ICO token, ETH will have a huge part in this process.

eth is not a bubble.. it is connected to bitcoin crashes, so if bitcoin crashes down.. eth also will fall... but bitcoin and eth will not be stand only in low price.. all you need to do is wait and hold so you can get some benefits you want.

Where did you come up with the idea that ethereum and bitcoin are both bubbles and will explode this year? Because for me, it is normal for cryptos to go on a huge dip, and eventually will skyrocket again in the future.

Personally, I don't think that Bitcoin is a bubble and I definitely don't think that Ethereum is a bubble since the crypto market is always like that and 70% retracement is very common in this space. I think the price goes down because of its rapid grown, we went from 10usd to 1000usd so the market needs a big correction to stay healthy. Also, Ethereum is a platform for hosting ICO and it required people to buy ETH to invest in which is why the price has risen so fast.

it may happen, after the price drops very drastically then the price will rise very sharply in the future like bitcoin. these predictions are much appreciated by many people if ethhereum has the same market fluctuations as bitcoin

The ETH and BTC coins are not the bubbles you think are two of the most potent coins, maybe because the prices are falling, so you think they are bubbles. But I assert that they will be sustainable and stable development.

If you don't like all this stuff you can just quit and look for other ways of earning, and just don't pay attention to the crypto currency. Guys who lost faith in the crypto, don't give up. There will be another huge surge at the market soon. All you need is patience and good money management Cheesy

if so pondered, then the crypto market is a big bubble, after a big downturn there will always be a big increase
