Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The etherum is coin formed after bitcoin, but etherum is referred to as the second bitcoin because they have bitcoin-like properties and are newer to bitcoin than many investors consider etherum to be the second gold after bitcoin.

ETH prices continue to fall below 400. Is this really necessary for ETH to really explode in 2018. Or is this just a bubble?

Why do you think that bitcoin and ethereum are bubbles, what makes you think like that, what is because the market is unstable and makes you think that everything is a bubble. I think you must have confidence if you become a crypto community.

What I know is that Bitcoin and Ethereum are both not in a bubble, it did not happen and I think will never happen this year or maybe next year. Although they both made tremendous gains in 2017 they're just in a bear market. At the time of writing, the total Market Cap of all cryptos is $211 billion based on coinmarketcap.com and that's still small compared to the tech bubble that happened in the year 2000 that grew to about $1.7 trillion before it burst. Now, do you think Bitcoin will explode with $110 billion it had today? The more it will not happen to Ethereum as it has a relatively tiny considering its total market of around $29 billion.

The price of ethereum falls after the general fall of the crypto-currency market. In my opinion, the current price of ethereum does not give grounds to assert that it was swollen or bloated, like a bubble. All coins and tokens have now lost about 70 percent of their value. This does not indicate that these were all bubbles. This shows so far that all types of crypto-currency are dependent on the price movements of bitcoin. While in bitcoin there will be a very high level of capitalization, it will dominate the price over all crypto-currencies.

I think you asked this question by seeing the current down market condition. But you have to keep in your mind that ups and downs are very normal in a market. That doesn't mean that the crypto( ETH here) is a bubble.

I guess for considering bitcoin as a bubble is quite reasonable. And so does for ethereum. Basically all cryptocurrency has the same type of movement, the can be consider as a bubble as well. However, the chance of the other altcoin to become a bubble is very low because the change of the price is in low frequency, it's very different if we compare it to bitcoin.

It is not only questionable, it is the exact opposite of a bubble...I was watching a documentary about the next financial crisis that will be caused by the endless amount of money printing in combination with record high depths...I believe it was on Youtube.

Someone wrote something like this in the comment section: Bitcoin is not a bubble, it is the pin

Bitcoin is not a bubble and so Ethereum, bubble never goes up when popped. I believe Eth is better than Bitcoin since it has a lot use cases and very useful than Bitcoin. I think BTC is overhyped but alcoins rely on its value so when Btc devalued it can be disastrous in the market.

Bitcoin ain't a bubble,  Ethereum ain't a bubble, Cryptopia ain't no bubble, it's just a matter of time before majority of people get to realize the potential of blockchain technology and stop classifying it as a bubble
