I want to see evidence to support waves claims 6000tx/min – sounds too high for real-world blockchain. Was this testnet because that’s not the same as mainnet?

100 tx/s is good but needs to be 10x more to compete with VISA

Just 1 example Smiley
https://twitter.com/jansen_marc/status/991288679602819072
I'll help you count - it's even 44% faster than 100tx per second Smiley This was done with masstx support, which has a smaller weight of tx (mean it's size) and as long as microblock at the moment is limeted to 1mb the mass tx is limited as well. With masstx only it is possible to do up to 500txs per second with present network configuration and which can be changed if network requires up to 10 times! 10 times Karl!

We are already on the same level as Visa... just don't have enough trx to fill up the gaps Smiley

Fixed fees are a smart option for Waves smart contracts. No exploit potential but I’m concerned about WAVES price?

In WAVES since ICO. Not selling even on pump to $50. Smart contracts are just the start.

Well first off, most of those 'too many' don't actually have a working product, unlike Waves.

Second, how many decentralised blockchains have 10,000 Tx/S NOW!

Working product yes, but not only that, working product that people actually can use immediately look at the volume on Waves DEX since last year. And I use their wallet since I installed, so easy and so beautiful, and so simple, yet this was the start.

And yes on thousands of tx. I do not like when ETH keeps crashing every time there is some fancy new game coming out. Dapps are good, but if one popular one takes all the network effect, what is the use?

Hello,

What are the main different's between wave's smartcontract and ethereum'? Or they are same?

Is there a good reason to use Waves’ smart contracts compared to Ethereum or Cardano?

Too many smart contract platforms now, seems every blockchain has to have them. What does WAVES do different to any other?

Which is better smart contracts, WAVES or ETHEREUM? I hear good and bad about both.

The Waves smart contracts will include the following benefits and more:

  • Support for multi-signature wallets, which cannot be controlled by simply one person alone
  • No gas for non-Turing complete smart-contracts
  • Comparable service to Ethereum, but both easier and cheaper to use
  • The ability to immediately distribute and trade created tokens on DEX
  • Support for atomic swaps in the future
  • Support for token freezes
  • Support for decentralized applications (DApps)

Best wishes,
Waves Community manager.
