Why does it have to be the NEW waves addresses?

There are lots of us been holding more than thousands of waves in our wallet as yet can't receive these airdrops, it should have been us that you guys are prioritizing.  Keeping another wallet just for these airdrops aren't worth, just spread the amount ot give to all holders that worked  eversince.

Some airdrops happened to existing wallets before. And now they are trying to attract new users.

Waves is anything but slow.
Waves works sustainably and thoughtfully. Unlike other platforms that publish half-finished things that will not work.
Other projects completely neglect their platform, trying only to increase the price. Good things sometimes take time.

That's why it can take a while. In the end, everything has to fit. I think they know exactly what they are doing.

Waves is really interesting system. I have some coins. It shows good growing results and its developers constantly improves technical issues. That’s great! I like projects which are not staying at place but develops itself.

Smart contract, dex exchange, perfect team, atomic swaps, low fees, high speed.. i'm almost sure this will be a $1000 coin in the future, but for now i can't understand why it is not skyrocketing? Some airdrops happened to existing wallets before. And now they are trying to attract new users.

People will just recycle coins in and out of exchanges into 'new' accounts , which only serves to motivate gaming the airdrop and punishing honest existing hodlers who aren't comfortable recycling funds into new accounts to appear like a new user.

This airdrop needs work, just reward hodlers, or pay the ico bch to the ico investors.  Don't reward gaming, this airdrop will go to existing accounts mostly, you can't prevent that ...fail!

I was kind of thinking the same. Why would the coins have to come from an exchange wallet? Everybody can in fact send their waves to the exchange and from there to the new wallet. Or not?

Yes, you will be eligible to participate if you deposit at least 10 Waves on newly created Waves wallet. It you decide to circle Waves from your Waves wallet, you'll need to send them on an exchange first, than transfer Waves to an absolutely new Waves wallet, the filling of the Google form is also required in that case.

It much more effective to award current (loyal) Waves community members with airdrops with the WCT, or MRT, than to award new community members with the airdrops. It's the golden rule in business, never forget your loyal customers.

Thank you for your feedback. This airdrop was supposed to be done for new members actually, to attract more new users, to make our community greater. The team is working on the activity where all the long time Waves holders can be rewarded as well. Stay tuned!

I think that's because of the general market situation. Waves is even more stable compared to other platforms. Ardor, Komodo or Lisk have lost more ground there. In recent weeks and months, only courses of projects have risen that do not yet have a mainnet and they will go live soon. With high probability, these courses will fall again after the Mainnet start. such as EOS.

In my personal experience when i made a waves wallet online, i used it https://waveswallet.io and it is save there are no coding be needed to making the waves wallet and for the airdrop you just need put the waves coin in the wallet and the airdrop will be sent automatically to your waves wallet.

We were talking about the swap last year. I'm surprised it still haven't been done. Hopefully they will do it soon, it is big disappointment for old investors.
