why not just say 1btc rounds instead of 1000 mBTC rounds
Because 1000 mBTC sounds like more :p
When 1mBTC is worth $1, having a coin denominated at 1,000 mBTC rather than 1BTC is more indicative of its value. That was my reasoning anyway when I chose to use mBTC as the denomination.
We finished the photo op for the next coin design last weekend, here's a preview:
This will obviously not be the final artwork of the coin, as it needs to be rendered in line art suitable for the mint to sculpt. Background elements are absent as well.
To say I'm looking forward to completing this design is an understatement.
The website should be complete in a day or two. This will allow us to offer multiple products and provide an official order stream for bulk purchases with discounts included.
