I got 6 time of reds on a %80 chance win game of PrimeDice,

and on a %49.5 chance game of Freebitco.in i got 25-28 turns of fails.

Martingale is a blackhole.

The best way to gamble is, win as quickly as possible and then run away while you are ahead.

The more you play, the more you lose.

Freebitco.in must be rigged. The last famous person for having a 26 loss streak was in 1908 or something, and someone in JD.

I think that is a scam site.

I heard some "not so good" feedback about them

Does it offer a provably fair model? Also, it wasn't in 1908 Smiley
It was last year, and the longest streak reported on JD was 28.

Thanks for the heads up. I agree.

I once got up to 23 reds on martingale... Lost quite some money there lol.

Maybe, you should only martingale if you have the bankroll. I have seen players who martingales with base bet of few sats, and were betting 5 btc as their last bet. If you keep around 25 losses in mind, you should be fine with martingaling(for a short term)

Martingle is a great system if you have unlimited money. Please see why does the casino has the max bet limit?

But my best strategy ever is never stop playing when you are on winning streak and stop playing when is on losing streak.

I made a little money with it.

If you stop on a losing streak you are not doing martingale.

Also, if you have unlimited money you don't need to go to the casino.

Then no one can martingale in real life, because you can't double your bet forever.

That's why it is a bad idea. You will eventually hit themwx bet or go broke.

The min bet on online casinos is like 1/100 cent, and even doubling up that, you could come up to like 400$. In casinos, min is around 1-5$, so its even harder.

I wouldnt doubt that the system just jacked u... Hard to do that in 50/50 its like getting hit by lightning.

U cant even dispute it since they will throw the math book at u.. I wouldnt doubt if these sites detect martingalers and screw the ones over who bet alot of money... I bet u did lose alot and i bet the site got u amd not math.. Although it doesmt always have to be that way just another reason not to use it

truth is anyone who comes with a consistently winning strategy will be flagged by the site operators just as i real life in Vegas if you are some kind of epic card counter .. psychic or something they will chuck you out of the casino so fast lmao Wink

There is a market for trustless gambling games

And theres a lot of them.

And would you believe if some trusted personalities here are behind those scammy games.
Which ones are trustless?

It's the same chance to place a 3x bet

WHat do you mean by same chance? Wouldn't that be evenm harder as it has a chance of hitting only 33% of the times?

Getting from 0.04 to 1.2 is a whooping 30x rather than 3x, of course it is a lot harder than winning a 3x bet lol. Grin

trusted ones are sites that are around for years without story of scams of dishonest behavior.

untrusted ones are the rest.

You stop when you're winning  Cheesy. Keep going and you'll bust soon enough. It often works in the short term providing you've got a big enough bankroll, but you'll hit a big loss streak eventually and lose your entire funds within a minute.

But the only problem with this argument is when to stop. I guess, the gambler could set a goal of sorts and stop when that is achieved.

But that is the question of all gambling - when to stop? Martingale is to easy to get sucked into because you're covering your back with each bet and when you start you'll naively think you're just making free money... that is until your luck runs out which it soon will. When to stop all depends on your own goals that you should set yourself and stick to, though obviously it's never quite as easy as that.

Greed gets the best of most of them( i would probably fall into it as well). Another user on the forum, posted about a strategy to beat the system but was ultimately using martingale , and lost over 30 btc .

Its actually hard to martingale from 0.04 to 1.2 BTC considering the minimum bet of 1 satoshi. You would be doing well over a million bets I believe to get there, as you will be winning a low base bet each time and 1 bad streak could wipe off everything. You might have been lucky.

If your base bet is 1 satoshi you would need about 150.000.000 bets to get to 1.2 btc

Not always the case, it also depends on the multiplier and the win chance. If I put the multiplier @ 110% increase each time I lose or If I'm using the 34% win chance not the usual 50%.

I think that should usually depend on what kind of martingale strategy you are using.
Some people martingale at 50%. Some also matingale at 10% or at 90%.
They just increase their base bets by different ratios.
Also, at 90% a martingale of 7-8 would get you at >1 BTC.

Well, you could always have a bad streak in the early stage. But if you set yourself a goal and stop at that, then maybe you will end profitable. I have seen players start with a bankroll of 5 BTC,  and stopping at a profit of 2 BTC. Also, once you have a big profit, you could potentially end your streaks at a smaller amount, so you are still profitable, and you are over with your bad streaks. But again, it is always a gamble.
