I think the bounty thread needs to resist KYC data.
Because no one knows what these KYC data are used for, I think it's a very dangerous thing to give our KYC data.

Agree with your bro, we can't just trust our data to anyone. Our data in exchange for some tokens or coins to the bounty.  In this case those who have bad intention they will make and ICO and do bounty campaign with KYC. The can harvest lots of data and can be used for fraud or sell the KYC package.  There are forums that sells KYC packages.

The KYC is an improvement in the execution of these projects. Whether they are for weeding out fraud, bot or scam is one thing. However, it is necessary to know your customer in doing business. The developers know quite well the implications of letting out personal details of their subscribers to the unwanted public.

Yet again, you are just a bounty hunter. Why be afraid more than the actual investors?

This is what i hate about some of the bounties because they are requiring to have KYC to the participants. In crypto it is much better if we are anonymous because it is for safety and also another reason i hate it because if some incident might happen and the data about identities are being leaked it is so troublesome.

several bounty projects, are now beginning to implement KYC on the distribution of their tokens
when I send my identity card is this safe? could it be misused?
actually I am also confused why bounty hunter still questioned about KYC. we only help promotion and maybe many of us also do not participate in ICO. and I'm also not sure my data will be safe or not

I think that it is wrong situation. Projects must write about KYC verification at the beginning of bounty campaign. So in this situation you know that you need to pass KYC at the end. But when you are working 2-3 months and then manager writes about necessary verification – wow. Such rules must be written before you start promoting the project.

I think it's going to be a mandatory part of most bounties in future so we have no choice but comply, just need to do be more cautious and do research about company and everything related to project before joining.

KYC is good in long run but many people afraid that their data can be use else where but we do KYC for many other things where it is minatory and it's heaver misuse so never afraid from KYC.

In my opinion KYC is not that secured because it requires your personal data/information which may use for bad but it is also good to implement KYC to verify that the person who joined to the ICO is true and not an alien.

ICO projects currently have 80% of SCAM, so there is no guarantee of data safety. If they encounter bad ICO they claim KYC, the KYC data is easy to be exploited. That's dangerous!

Exactly, projects that are big and strict in implementing their rules and regulations most likely ask for a KYC verification before starting and end of the campaign, you can make a second thought before giving your personal data or personal identification card as long as you know the purpose and benefits

I think its good decision.
Because people using multiple account nowadays. So, it is a great system for real bounty hunters.
I think its safe, because project development manager not a terrorist or others from my thinking. So it is safe.
People who used multiple account, I think he will not work for kyc. Then real bounty worker will work any project.

If I have to go through the identification procedure, I always send a photo of the driver's license, I think it is much safer.

What changes if you know the benefits of the project? Where is the guarantee that your data will not fall into the wrong hands? Even if you know the biography of each project Creator you can not be sure that any employee will not sell your data to third parties. Hackers can also get access to the vault databases. It seems to me that the only way to save your data is not to share it with anyone.

There are no issue yet about that, i hope that there are no ICO SCAMMED that has to be deal with KYC because we are in mess by that time.
I just sent my KYC to some ICO and i am still safe now.

KYC or KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER is really scary.

I think it's safe so far. I already give my identity to some bounty to get his token. to be honest, that way will decrease some abusers which tried get token with cheaters.

I think more and more ICO campaigns are implementing KYC for bounty to avoid double profiles, bots, etc. and I understand it.

Of course it's a risk because if the ICO fails or worse it's scam then you give personal data for free. Then my advice is to analyze the ICO, the team, the project and whitepaper before starts the KYC procedure.

Asking a KYC certified bounty hunter will minimize the cheater and verify the identity of the original Token owner when the project is over. But verification of KYC can be taken advantage of, as many people can cheat and overtake it.

I think KYC shouldn’t for bounty hunter & if it is necessary then should be same for all campaign.

And it should be announce at the start of bounty not at the time of distribution, in this case it will be convenient for participant to take part in bounty or not.

This is not a new procedure many bounty have always requested for and as far as I know I don't think there is anything that is so spectacular about what they are asking for and how many people are they going to use their Identity card.

I think this has been done long enough, maybe a few months ago there was a kyc, and indeed we would have to attach our identity card in kyc, because if not, of course we will not be paid, our hard work will be in vain
