https://www.coindesk.com/ibm-evolution-big-blue-finally-getting-serious-cryptocurrency/

This is exciting news for our community, very bullish. The article mentions they are speaking with many major banks to figure out how they can get involved. Our future here in the cryptoverse is looking positive what do you think in the midst of a bull cycle, is there hope still out there?

In the days when Bitcoin was a hot topic and governments were still deciding what to do with this technology, IBM was one of the first companies that shown interest. As time went by and Banks got involved, they shifted their attention to create their own Blockchain based technologies and Bitcoin was dumped like a turd.

The big companies will always find a way to "steal" the technology and to make it their own. Bitcoin is one of those technologies that gave it to them on a plate.  Angry

You should remember that Blockchain technology does not only support cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and others but has the ability to revolutionize the markets and transfer/save data.
But I think NASDAQ is the first to support this technology since 2013 by developing methodologies in financial transactions.
Quote this text from 2015"
today announced that an issuer was able to use its Nasdaq Linq blockchain ledger technology to successfully complete and record a private securities transaction - the first of its kind using blockchain technology.  Chain.com, an inaugural Nasdaq Linq client and blockchain developer, documented its issuance of shares to a private investor using Nasdaq's blockchain-enabled technology. This transaction represents a major advance in the application of blockchain technology for private companies."[1]
