I would rather hold some bags and make sure I do not lose money by selling low than just selling low and try again with lower entry point or some other coin. I feel like while holding coins I either support the developers of that coin or purely support the coin itself against other people.

I have been discussing the same thing with a friend and if you are going to buy a coin for a long term investment I think getting a proof-of-stake coin is the way to go, that way you can start staking right away and still not lose too much during a bear market. When the price goes back up to what the ATH was, you can sell even more because you staked it during the bear market.

Bitcoin, even despite its well-known shortcomings such as slow confirmation times and high transaction costs does its job pretty well. Some coins are faster (like Litecoin), some have special features (like Ethereum), but people need a reliable and trusted currency which does what a currency should minimally do, that is transfer value. I don't personally believe in Bitcoin as digital gold as gold is a totally different beast, but Bitcoin fits well where fiat currencies fail, first of all, at being independent from the whims of governments and other third parties (for example, banks).

These two are the points which are best here. Most of the time this world is all about the surrounding news and it highly fluctuates based on it. This is why keeping ourselves up to date with the crypto currencies news is very much important.

Finding entry point, yes many people dont understand this or dont look at this at all. Entry point is important because that will decide how much profits we will be getting after the prices starts moving upwards from that point. This point must be such that from there onwards the prices must be going upwards only. (Mostly ~ bottom prices).

More like an easy way to just discard all the noises in the market within those periods and come back later on when more people are beginning to want to join at even a much higher price and willing to pay anything for it. All the same, it is still always very necessary to play that part well and be ready to do the needful before investing.

By doing the needful, I mean, finding out the best time to invest and get the best at least for bitcoin and I am sure there is nothing much to understand about bitcoin future in the long run as that should be glaring enough to most people. Or on the other way round, just keep buying the dips and focusing more on the future. You can't miss it.

The best suggestion one could give for profit in the crypto market is that, invest in the coin which you feel has the most potential and hold onto it. Volatility has been a major characteristic feature of the coins, hence one should not get scared by the dips that the market face.

Its a good suggestion but some of them are really hard to execute, finding the right entry point is the hardest part, it need a good technical analysis and a lot of experience, entry at the wrong time can cause losing money or stagnant investment, and I think people should not trade based on the historical chart because the market situation is different from time to time, trading can't be based only by theory, it also need some experience in the market, and in trading yoy need to act based by logic not by emotion

Yep, it tells us exactly what you said. Although the Bitcoin adoption is far from what it should be and according to various estimations amounts to from 0.3% to 0.7 % of the world population, BTC is much more trusted crypto than any other and there are good reasons for that, like those that you've mentioned, for example. Yet, some people keep repeating like a mantra that investing in other cryptos is more profitable.

In my view you should not give any attention to such false new and statements to avoid panic. I realize that these statements and false news affect the market badly because some stupid investors take it seriously and make decisions before the right time and lose their money. The overall market influenced by these statements. You should concentrate on daily market situation.
