As much as I am a supporter for buying altcoins and waiting for them to go up, selling all of your ethereum is not the best move seeing as ethereum is the biggest and best altcoin in the cryptocurrency market. If you are not holding ethereum then you are doing something wrong. ADA is a coin that looks good  but putting all of your ETH into it is not the best thing that you could've done.

To be honest, I think that now Litecoin is a more profitable investment. Although Bitcoin may have chances to grow, I've never held it, but there are perspectives

In my opinion, it would be better to average the risks and sell 50% of ETH.  So you would save ETH, and add a new coin to your portfolio.

Ada is a good pick, but you could have diversified your investment plan. Ethereum is the best among the altcoins because of its smart contract platform being used by several altcoins. Ada being a separate platform has gained good potential to grow and the ongoing year has got a big expectation upon ethereum.

Bold decision, but Cardano does not even have its own network, they themselves work on  ETH newtork. Let's see if they can make a worthy competition.

Yikes. I'm sorry to hear you made that decision. I do like ADA, but I don't see it having any value in the short/mid term. I think ADA is a future investment and by future i mean like 10 years or greater.

I would also advise you to pay attention to the issue of diversification and projects with the same objective but with a different and more structured organization and approach like EOS and this will help you to easily survive the fall of the chosen project. Of course, only the best will survive, but if you bet on two projects, the chances are greater and you should not forget that the earnings for a successful investment can always be calculated in hundreds and thousands of percentages, and this compensates for losses from improper diversification of your portfolio

Every coin can see 0 but eth can't. So you take so much risk and this is always about a high-risk high reward situation. In my opinion, everyone should be patient and wait for a good chance to sell.

I agree that there is a very strong team behind the project, but before investing it is worth conducting a research.

ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.
You make a decision too soon. However, if you believe and have checked it, it will be best for you. In my opinion, ethereum is still in a difficult situation that is starting to rise from the correction that occurs but the potential for growth and recovery is huge. The presence of new projects that use ethereum allows more and more demand. So, I think ethereum has more potential to grow than ADA.

this will certainly be your decision. Since the current ETH still has great potential, it is still one of the biggest capcoins in the cryptocurrency market. The market has deepened and ETH is only in a very difficult period, it takes time to overcome and recover. If you want to buy an ADA, just sell a little ETH, do not sell everything, maybe one day ETH will bring you a profit.

i think you can sell some ETH to buy Cardano(ADA) but not all of your ETH because ADA is still very young now and not everything about ADA is great, it is still not perfect, we need more time to see real life's values of ADA, therefore it is still better if we buy ETH for long term and just sell a little to hold ADA for long term.

I think it's risky for selling your eth in exchange of ADA, I mean both are good but it's hard to put our hopes in that..As price and value of Ethereum wil be more and more. I hope you will not regret your decision.

Yes, sir, what you said is correct. The potential of the ADA is indeed great, but the market tends to rise when others lose their confidence. Perhaps ETH has appreciated quickly.

Also, you should always diversify your investment as this is key. It would be great if you have bought the ADA with 50% of the funds and keep the both coina thereby minimixing the risk

well to me, what i can only say about this is that you can sell $50 of your ether and reserve the rest for further reason.

I think it's a speculative move as Ethereum is already a working project. I think splitting them into two parts and investing in both would be a better idea.

I am also optimistic about ADA, because ADA's main website is about to go online, so this is good news.
So I will buy more ADA. Grin

The price of ADA and ETH is very different.
However, to sell all ETH and put them for the ADA is too risky. If you really want to make an investment in ADA, why don't you split your ETH? Some of ETH is sold for buying the ADA and some left for savings.

You should sell and transfer to the ADA if the amount of ETH you are holding is under $ 1000. Because the ADA is the potential crypto in 2018 when the exchange rate increases very fast. Currently, the ADA ranks seventh with a price of $ 0.25. So if you have less money and want to invest then the ADA is a good choice.

Business is all about risks and you have taken this one. Ethereum is doing well in the market now. There is no need to lose hope on Ether which is second to Bitcoin in demand and market cap. Nevertheless good luck to you.
