Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I would say avoid the news sources in this market, because they have been the main contributor of panic and fear in the last months. The level of (paid) bias they throw in each and every article is astonishing and unhealthy. I usually just keep an eye on what's happening on Twitter and Reddit, but even here the shilling has almost overtaken any legitimate bit of information.

Sites with the most shittles and (paid) bias, and thus probably best to avoid, unless you do some proper research yourself regarding each subject;

CCN (paid content slut mainly).
Bitcoin.com (quite often anti Bitcoin content).
Coindesk (paid content slut mainly).

And avoid the mainstream media news sources, they go beyond everything with their anti Bitcoin campaigns.

Check that above site, it is like a twitter for cryptocurrencies. You will get a lot of latest news to read and it is posted by people, not by any one person.

But nowadays I stop following very closely markets because just waiting for markets to go up and holding tight all my coins.

I wonder what is the fastest? Reddit subreddits are definitely faster than news outlets, there are also a couple TG channels, but those are mostly biased.

Podcasts and youtube videos are great to keep up with the big news, but if you plan to use them to trade, it's not the best support, because they often come out late and as everything goes very fast in the crypto... And generally, you will arrive after everyone if you keep only this support. The fastest is still twitter!

Didn't find any reason/s why youtube will be included on the options. While news for videos there are usually late.
I will still recommend coindesk, bitcoin.com and cointelegraph only for news/media, not for any other articles there but of course, always beware with fuds.

Usually I just google "Bitcoin", "cryptocurrency" or anything else I want to read about and go to the News tab. It's easier than having to go through multiple websites and keep reading repeated news.

The sad part is that it's pretty hard to find an article that is worth my time. Most of those websites tend to either shill shit-ICO's for money or FUD Bitcoin.

Keep track of the mainstream media of the project or crypto you want to join for the latest news. For general market information, you can look at big forums such as Bitcointalk, the prestigious financial news because most of the news is created for the purpose of cryptocurrency. .

In case if want to update yourself from crypto world then try out google search so that you will find good news. In case if you are finding scams sites then that is what you can know about. You are wise enough to know which are real and scams sites.

You can connect your self with experts so they will update you what to do. Bitcointalk forum will guide you and will put light on what you need to know about.

OP, use the Google news search. Typing in a simple keywords like "Bitcoin", "cryptocurrencies", "altcoins" and others will give you the latest results you want.

Plus do not make the common mistake of checking only the first page of the search. Haha.

I get latest news about cryptocurrencies on twitter, facebook, bitcointalk forum, reddit, discord and most commonly on telegram channels.

I have to say I avoid all these chanels. They are often full of misleading sometimes completely wrong information and it's hard to tell whic actualy have some ground in true analysis and knowledge and which are only uneducated guessing.
You can't believe that is true everything that is written somwhere.

I agree Google is one of the best options for searching any news. but once you enter your question it will give you all results which are related to your question in that how can you identify which result is showing correct news and which is false news.

Suppose every page shows different answers then what to do?  Smiley obviously, we will get both positive and negative results.

This is a very cool site, i want to recommend this too. If youre very active in the crypto market i suggest you to use the PRO features, so you can customize the news that you want to read.

I usually google key words to find out the News. No matter good or bad news related to your topic, it will come out for you. I also read reddit.com regarding specific crypto-currencies. Then I'll aggregate the News and identify which is fake news to make decision in the trading market.

Obviously here, on Bitcoin Talk. Usually I also type on google what I'd like to know regarding crypto currencies and just select the News option. I discuss with a lot of my friends as they are as well big into digital currencies, but don't rely on either here, google news or my friends. You really can't know how a coin will move on the market, so everything in general is personal preference. How you think a coin will do, its all you, I don't recommend listening to sites.

coindesk, cointelegraph, news bitcoin, and cnn are some of the websites that provide crypto news. if you just type crypto news on google you'll get all the new articles. you can also check twitter, facebook groups, and telegram channels, some of them offers market news, and news on different coin. this is the on am on https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@mcsignalspublic
