Altcoins have depreciated pretty much. Even if it's not the bottom yet, it's near. Thus, I would say it's quite a good moment for investment.

This is the best time to invest in some large and medium cap altcoins but with some utility or use case. The cryptocurrency market will certainly flourish but with the lesser coins and the ones with utility. Most of the altcoins will turn zero in long term. If you aren't into day trading or short term trading and not looking for tick trades or quick profits, invest in some high utility coins like VEN, POWR, WABI, ETH etc for long term. You can scalp good profit and higher margins than any other traditional asset but with less risk involved.

It depends on what altcoin do you prefer to invest. But preferably, ethereum is a really nice pick to invest in. You can buy eth with a lower price. You may think that it is pretty risky but one characteristic of eth is its volatility like bitcoin. It may dump at this moment but soon it will regain its value.

It depends, because there are so many good altcoins with promising potential, and there are too shitcoins as well. So the good altcoins like ETH, Ripple, and few other coins are expected to go up again after some amount of time. You dont need to panic about them because their prices are known by volatility.

Before investing, you should know that your money is at risk and there's no easy money that will just come to your account after buying your desired coin. Altcoins or bitcoin both of them are risky to invest but it will give good returns too if you follow the cryotocurrency investment rules like never invest more than you can afford to lose and buy at the price is low and hold your coin in long term to get the real profits but bitcoin is little bit safer when compared to other coins in my opinion.

If the value proposition and niche of altcoin is unique to the market and it really cares about the community, then I would presumably say it's not risky at all in the long term. However, for short term, I have no idea honestly.

It depends on which altcoins. Look at the project, its achievements and intentions. I take part in one project and I know it's hard work. However, it pays to do it honestly and systematically. You can not worry about hatred. You must enjoy what has been achieved and have plans for the future

I think investing in alternative cryptocurrencies today is more profitable than in bitcoin or other oldies. Bitcoin is too heavy to make X, but alternative coins are light enough capitalization for this.
