and that is the reason why it's been said that when investing into crypto currency, always invest what you can afford to lose.
someone people normally put their life saving into the crypto currency and it's not a good idea, anything can happen,
So right now market is still down and prices of coins in the market is down, so it's a good time to buy some coins.

It is not only altcoins but mist of the cryptos. Such action became risky due to the negative situation in the market particularly with market dumps which dominated the majority of the market this year. We are already in the last quarter but things seems to be not changed which results to loss of profit. For now, be patient and wait for positive things to come. |

if it is a good project i would also invest in altcoins. but the team, the project and the bounty manager need a perfect team picture to make it a success. that's very difficult today.

to invest in crypto currencies does have a high risk but if you have the right and patient strategy then investing in altcoin is not a big risk

I think the risk is small because most likely the price of coins will not fall below. And maybe soon the price will start to rise.

yes it is the biggest risk when investing in Altcoin and you can see it now that all coin prices fall for now far unlike in 2017 ago. I think there are some people crying now because they bought Altcoins at high prices and it was very sad. |

It depends on what altcoin do you prefer to invest. But preferably, ethereum is a really nice pick to invest in. You can buy eth with a lower price. You may think that it is pretty risky but one characteristic of eth is its volatility like bitcoin. It may dump at this moment but soon it will regain its value.
in my opinion, investing in any coin cryptocurrency is definitely a risk and all depends on our confidence and patience in choosing what coins you think have a not so big risk |

It's depends on what AltCoin do you want invest. Two things that an investor needs are timing & direction. both must be analyzed at the same time. Like choosing an altcoin that has very strong fundamentals & has a good chart to invest.

my advice is better you don't be afraid to try something new and don't be afraid of the risk because the higher your risk the higher the results you can get and for now it looks like altcoin has a very high risk but behind the risk you can get a lot of profit

It will depends on what altcoin you're buying since a lot are becoming a ground for pump and dump scheme. You should check first the chart and discussion about this project before investing. A lot of altcoins are good for long term holding.

I dont think investing in altcoins is now dangerous. At present its price is quite cheap and many investors have waited for this for a long time. Why not buy it and invest long term to make big profits for the future? That would be a mistake when you hesitate to buy altcoins now. Because in the future, its price will not be as cheap as it is now! |

I disagree with your statement. We all know crpto market have high volatility.
Investing in alt coins can give you massive returns on your investments. It all depends on the nature of investment , at what time you are buying the coins and what time your are trading. Time plays crucial role in cryptocurrency. Yes risk is equally involved in cryptos. Probability is 50:50
So investing in alt coins is not risky if you invest sensibly and wisely.
