Bitcoin is not dying, not at all. It's true, the price is falling since December last year. Coming from almost 20K, bitcoin has now dropped to below 7K. This is the result of the FUD spread by authorities and financial institutions. The biggest threat comes from the IRS. They plan to tax every crypto transaction and they will also tax investors who made a profit with cryptocurrencies and they will also force exchanges to give information about customers. This is much more threatening than social media banning crypto related ads.
Bitcoin will only get over this when all this FUD is over.

$600 will decide the fate of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin survives, it will be just a low level speculative asset and it's price range will be $600 to $1000.

I dont see it go below the $6k ish price range. Previously we got a bounce from that level after the big correction. I think it could act as a good support.

If it doesnt, there will be even more fear in the market and we could see even more downside. Im just holding my longterm holdings no matter what.

Too much panic = what causes these price fluctuations

its just trying to re-test february 5th's LOW.. if it cant get much lower than feb 5th's low. then the traders will be confident they have found the BOTTOM resistance and then will change plans.

if it drops below feb 5th's low, then they will retest november 12ths low.  if it cant get much lower than novmbr 12th's low then the traders will be confident they have found the BOTTOM resistance and then will change plans.

only time will tell

I think bitcoin has very strong buy support around $6000. It will end when we can hit $10000. Until then it will dance between 6000 and 10000 all the time, I wish we could return back to december 2017 really..

We are passing through time filled with FUD, negative sentiment towards bitcoin is filling the air.
More countries are now against bitcoin - Chile and Kazakhstan seem to take an adverse stance.
In the meantime, we have very little positive news floating around.
What is some major positive news you heard about bitcoin recently? Can you name it?

The end of Bitcoin? It's just been made to look like that by the media to drive the price down. All the big institutions are ready to jump on. Why else would someone buy Poloniex for $400M, some company has bought bitstamp and a korean exchange, bittrex is getting a re-brand. Does it sound like the end of crypto currencies to you?

My theory is that after this outstanding grow to +800b as every more experienced trader already knew we will have same size correction and it happened  it trully looked like we lived it through but some authorities that already had huge accumulated huge chunks started to sell in order to create continued panic that combined wtih all those negative news about all the bans and mt goax made it even worse becouse of that as we may all see there is some kind of pattern for daily sell/buys that are always made by some whale to even manipulate it more in order to accumluate more i duobt there could be even more bad news after all those taxes and this should slowly start recover it might takes a while but i duobt it will take longer then 1-2months.
You can read about it here https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@supercrypto1/4th-dimension-bitcoin-manipulation-cartel-price-suppression-is-the-goal
At first this article may sound stupid or crazy but the more time you let it sink the more logical it gets.

Like everyone said, the effect of FUD is what makes bitcoin price keep declining.I just hope there will be a good news that will counter the FUD and make the price moving again. We just have to wait till that happen while we counter the FUD ourselves by spreading the crypto knowledge to other people.

It is quite obvious that bitcoin is being omitted now in the price deliberately. We have seen a number of cases when false negative information was organized against the crypto currency and bitcoin, objective difficulties with the cryptoplyut were greatly exaggerated, etc. This is what some of the unstable psychologically bitcoin holders want to sell their bitcoins at a low price in order to earn further on this . Therefore, after a certain time, bitcoin should again rise in its value. However, to say how much it will cost afterwards is rather difficult. The latest cautious forecasts of experts are $ 20,000. by the end of the year. Perhaps it will be so.

I hope it will start to decelerate and trade sideways, but if not i think the bottom is at around 3000 to 4000 dollars. Miner production cost is somewhere at that levels...

what end?))) this is just the beginning, now the crypto market is just beginning to develop and is at the very beginning of its life! we were lucky to see this development, so I'm sure the capitalization of the crypto market will grow! and with the world economy and technology will not grow!

Bitcoin is not dying it's just the government and some huge companies are putting pressure on bitcoin and also, bitcoin price climb too fast last year in span of 1 year bitcoin rose from 800 dollars per coin to almost 20k dollar per coin so, i think it is expected the price of bitcoin will drop but we don't know how long will it be until the we touch the ground

I think and I believe that bitcoin won't die and maybe this is only speculation coming from unbeliever people to btc. As far as I know the people whose surrounded and really involve in the crypto world says that bitcoin are the King of all crypto which means that it is much stronger and the most leading than the other coins. Even if it's suffering from really downfall it will never end maybe this is the way of preparing it for the upcoming bounce which is highest rising up again.

Will bitcoin die this time? That's the question that's been asked hundreds of times whenever a crash happens in the market. No, bitcoin will not die. Just because price is falling, doesn't mean that it's "dying".

I don't think that a lot of bitcoin investors knew that bitcoin isn't just something that will continue to go up and produce returns like in 2017. Instead, it's going to adjust and correct just like what's happening right now.

I think that after this recovery, the markets will probably continue dipping. When it'll stop, I'm not sure. But it should be around $3k. Once that level is reached, and support is built, then there is potential for a new bull market to happen probably in a couple of years time.

Bitcoin is falling because a lot of people panic sold their coins thereby dumping so much coins in the market increasing supply and there isn't enough demand to actually balance it out, but the market is starting to pick up.

I think bitcoin will start to grow now. The long wait is over. The fall is over. Bitcoin and altcoins are growing big now. And i think it will start to reach its all time high.
