Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, it is not a human being. So bitcoin cannot help the poor people, it needs someone to do it. Yes, if someone wealthy enough or have a lot of btc is very willing to donate or help these poor children or people in underdeveloped countries, then that would be the time that we can say that bitcoin becomes an insrument to help other people.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I don't believe that Bitcoin or any other kind of revenue based on technology could help children in the underdeveloped countries because there would be a need for technology and if you just send money or goods you can't be sure that it will get to the children. Sad topic.

Bitcoin could somehow help our financial crisis,  but bitcoin itself could not help poor children literally. Rather,  it is in the hands of us humans who could extend a hand and help those children to achieve their dreams.  We could be an instruments in providing them support.  Those people who invested with bitcoin could leave an impact those kids, I mean we are investing for the future and those kids with big dreams are the future of the world.
