ID would not prove anything because ID was not linked to the account in the first place. I thought TF was actually hacked to begin with. But, now I have changed my mind.
Indeed, ID would prove nothing.

This is super shady, TradeFortress. Any comments? Why have you suddenly instituted a policy that does 0% to reduce fraudulent claims, and will only save you money?

Oh, that's right.....  Roll Eyes

Having come late to the BTC table. I have been doing some mining. CPU (a bit slow), got my first USB eruptor (Bit quicker). Bought 3 more (Bit quicker still). Hooked them up through my Raspi (bit cheaper!). Bought some coins (bitbargain.co.uk). Bought some shares (Bitfunder.com). BTC price was moving in the right direction. Bought some more coins. Put them into Coinlenders (Nice Interest). Life was looking Good!

Then the shares (BTCINVEST) got frozen. Bitfunders closing down. Dont worry, they'll get transferred out!

First CD about to mature on CL. This was easy. Lets move and spare bitcents into CL for the next one.

Maturity dates comes by and OH! CD returned early, best check the forums.

OMG

Option1:    Best register on the forum so I can register for my sliding scale refund [Done] - This this post
Wait a while and then get my details logged

Option2:    Turn off the PC, Lie on the floor, wrap myself up in a blanket just in case something else goes wrong

Should have gone down the Pub followed by the Night Club and then the Strip Club.

The pain in my head would be better than the pain in my wallet (offline leather not hot, cold or paper!)

It will get better!!!!

He's making more enemies every hour. People started to doubt that he pulled off such a stunt when he was handing out partial refunds. Now, he can't explain why he wants ID. When ID will not prove anything. Now he's holding back and doesn't want to give out refunds. He wants to keep it to himself and that's why I believe that he's asking for ID. Although, I can't prove this. He's being very shady at the moment.

It really goes to show the danger of holding your coins in smaller operators. Inputs wasn't even THAT small!!

Since the hack I've been more cautious with my coins. Gonna hold them in a few different places for safety purposes.

And by that you are helping him in repaying, cause there's alot of account with tiny sums, which together could make up for 1000 BTC

IMHO We all must start being more resposible when it comes to the election of web wallets or services involving funding.
Its not that hard to do a quick lookup of the site server providers, domain registrars and stuff like this.
If out btc are gone there is not much to do so this is a MUST when picking a service to trust in.

Inputs wasn't even THAT small!!

Huh

How do you define small?

How many employees did they have?

How much office space did they own or rent?

How many servers were they running?

What was their annual revenue?

What was their annual operating expenses?

I think he meant the amount of coins they had 4100 BTC. TF claimed to have employees but that is as much as I know.

Yeah, I wouldn't judge the "size" of a company on the amount of money others are voluntarily donating to them.  That's just a recipe for disaster.

They're going to demote it 4 days ago.
Or maybe they are too busy sharing the loot and it will be 2 days ago.

There has been a lot of hype about inputs.io lately. I have not gotten to know it, though. Why all the hype? What are its positive features?

definitely not its account balance.
