What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

I like the Tesla example, he had inventions coming out of his ears but didn't have the finance to bring them all to fruition, by seeking capital he did encounter issues and sacrifice, I believe he had invented wireless electricity and pretty much what we use now as Wifi but his way would have been available to all which meant the big corporations would not make money from it so they would bury this idea and others.

I suppose that's one of the downfalls when going to the big boys for funding, this is why currently starting an ICO seems to be a great way to raise capital from the people.

When starting a business i think the most important is capital because even when you have nice and good ideas for a business if you have insufficient capital it will not succeed but in some cases evwn when you have enough money to put up a business if you dont have smart ideas to apply with you'll not prosper.

The capital is surely more important than idea, despite that the good idea is essential too. But without enough capital, even if you have so many nice ideas, you cant launch your business, but if you have the capital you can take your time to choose a good idea. But if you get both, big capital and nice idea, your project would be really successful.

Both Idea and Capital are essential. but Idea needs to come first before capital, Regardless which one is more important.
I choose to have big idea to start anything, because I will take control of what I start. Capital can come from investors who has interest in my idea. oppositely, if I have capital for business, I need to find idea to start. I need to trust the idea's owner to run the business. it feels like a gamble in trusting some one else on my capital.

I think the answer is pretty much obvious. Of course you have to have a large capital in order to make your big idea feasible. Big ideas do not secceed with little efforts, especially money as capital. Yes we can make big ideas first, but it should be accompanied by small plans and plan B's. Business is not something which can be done with only one of the option you have mentioned. It needs both and thats my perspective of looking at it.

Big Idea :

In any business this forms the basis of the whole business. If you know what you are going to do then obviously you need to confirm that with your idea. There are 100's of them but the unique one always stands out and people always need something new. Even if it is selling of burger on the street then you need idea on how to do it in different way so that people can choose your burger! Honestly it means a lot to me. So you need to get started with idea for sure.

Big Capital?

Now, capital is the thing that will depend on what kind of business you are going to do. If it is something really big then obviously you cant let go that Big word and off course big capital as well.

Capital forms the stage of your business which will support the whole structure of the business and will help you build it the way you represent it in the idea. So this is why both of them are important.

I think the idea must be the same weight as the capital, it's proportional since you really need
both to pull it off. A great idea only signifies big capital to produce and deliver big results and
hopefully bigger profits. These days the capital is more important, since most of the business
that are sprouting out can be easily conceived and imitated. Business is a competition after all,
the bigger and brighter the idea and capital, the better the business potential.

Capital is important. Part of the reason the USA leads in start-ups is because they have a huge venture capital industry eager to invest in new ideas. If you look into reality,the only important thing when starting a business is capital.Idea or other necessity can be bought by money,you can pay some expert to advise you about your new business.I know big idea is important but it just an idealism,without capital,you can start nothing.
