Thank you Super3!

Hey guys, anybody know how to fix this issue with second instance of bitcoind in Debian?
i used command - ./bitcoind -port=1102 -datadir=/root/Protos1 -daemon
(first instance is running in /root/ProtoShares/src)
and this error occured:

Error: An error occurred while setting up the RPC port 3838 for listening on IPv4: bind: Address already in use

Is there a way to sell mined protoshares?

Resistance is futile. Embrace cryptocurrencies.

Setup and running for a couple days now on about a dozen VM's, only hit 2 blocks altogether though, not really worth the $40 worth of VM's I spent on it...

Thanks for the guide anyhow:

Here's my address, i'll leave them mining if you make it worth my while:

4. Select the 4 CPU / 8 GB, and Debian 7.0 x64 as your image
This plan costs 80 USD per month.
Can you earn them back by mining? I don't think.
Thanks anyway and good luck.

It was worth it day one and two for solo mining. Now its much harder. Would have to do another guide for pool mining.

Sorry it's not a good guide.

First it's missing a command to create folder so echos fail:
echo "rpcuser=[youruser]" >> /root/.protoshares/protoshares.conf
echo "rpcpassword=[yourpass]" >> /root/.protoshares/protoshares.conf

Second below command seems to crash Bitcoin daemon for me
./bitcoind setgenerate true 3

I don't think these Protoshares are worth my time. I'm going back to my happy XPM mining.

How I've earned 0.088 BTC for making few forum posts on LetsTalkBitcoin

Thank you! Smiley

Btw, I have created many (about 15) DO droplets since Thursday night, but only found one block.
Is this because they all shared the same wallet (15 droplets were hashing the same search space)?
Each droplet informs the same getbalance output.

If you would just like some coins post your address below.
My affiliate link is https://www.digitalocean.com/?refcode=b42d05f9603c, if you sign up with DO then tell me so I can give you 2x the giveaway coins and before the regular giveaway folks.

1. Sign Up for Digital Ocean.
2. Fund you account with Paypal or Credit Card
3. Click the Green 'Create Button' or the Blue 'Create Droplet' Button
4. Select the 4 CPU / 8 GB, and Debian 7.0 x64 as your image
5. Your username and password will be emailed to you
6. Use an SSH client like Putty to login.
7. Use the following script. You may paste these in line by line as well if you have problems.

Code:
#!/bin/bash

cd ~
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y git make g++ build-essential libminiupnpc-dev
sudo apt-get install -y libboost-all-dev libdb++-dev libgmp-dev libssl-dev dos2unix
git clone https://github.com/InvictusInnovations/ProtoShares
cd ProtoShares/src
make -f makefile.unix
echo "rpcuser=[youruser]" >> /root/.protoshares/protoshares.conf
echo "rpcpassword=[yourpass]" >> /root/.protoshares/protoshares.conf
./bitcoind -daemon
./bitcoind setgenerate true 3
8. Launch as many as you would like. I would launch a few dozen before the difficult rises in a few hours.
9. Huh
10. Profit

You may have to add the config file yourself after compilation. Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Some of the coins I mined:
