I think the key is to hold through the crashes unless you are able to sell before the crash or very soon in the crash.

Selling in this case would just be to allow you to buy more as the price drops. For me, since I don’t keep much on the exchanges, I can’t make trades quickly.

I choose to just hold and ride it out even if the recovery takes a couple of years. I think it will be worth it in the long run.

Once you are able to garner the strength to hold through the crashes, it is always going to be the best decision for anyone. The problem or reason people find that very hard is because they either are ignorant of the fact that this is normal in every market, or they got greedy into FOMO, or they just simply allow emotions to play the best part of them.

However, in this case, it is the way things have always been, and for those who know what they are doing; they either trade the market if they have the knowledge or hold until the market recovers.

If that people will not going to change then more likely they will always end up blaming others not themselves of being an expert. I think the OP have miss what this downtrend means. I have no tips to help you survive the red market. I use a unique method that is that every time the market is red I will continue to invest more. At that time I would buy altcoin when the price is low and will wait until altcoin prices recover

If someone has big amounts available for investing and he also has a mindset of an investor, it would be useless to not utilize that money when the market is red. Buying any asset at a lower price is preferred over buying it at expensive rates.

What a helpful tips! Don't stress yourself too much, always remember that every problem has a corresponding solution. Instead of focusing and worrying too much on difficulties, just be strong, you might miss some other important details in life that needs to be given more attention with if you're trapped with the said circumstances. That simply tells us that people will never stop getting emotional or panicking for no reason at the end of the day.
A lot of people always feel like if they are just experiencing it for the first time and they have not actually gotten to see the market recover, they would not believe anything until it happens and it is normal.

Have you forgotten that some people are holding bitcoin and still complaining and the last time I checked, if we are to classify any coin as the strongest now, bitcoin is the first on the list, but people still panic ?

Moreover even if anyone wants to trade, they will have to do it with knowledge and that is one thing that is just surprising to me on how people do things in life. If you want to survive in this time when the market values of most of the crypto coins is falling to a very significant value, then you need to do one thing and that is to keep on holding your coins no matter what. The moment you will lose your control over your emotions will result in a huge loss as at that time, you will not be able to make some sensible decision which will never be in your favor.

I like the some of the idea, but I dont agree with the second opionion, about not selling your btc or eth, each person got its own way to trade, and if your buying price and the present price is already too far, its better to cutloss and try the average profit strategy, stuck in the same place for too long won't be good, I think in every trade the traders need to be smart and able to analyse every situation (even in bearish market) to make profit and prevent lost
