Actually, I have ordered two antminers from bitmain, From these two one shipped earlier and it reached in my country in few days but unfortunately due to some rules and regulation stuck in our customs. These rules were new to me too, otherwise, I wouldn't have ordered the antminers. But let's say its ok with one because I still can save 1+ BCH by canceling my 2nd order, for which I have requested Bitmain to cancel the 2nd order of even ship it to some other address in some other country. But, I think they didn't understand my point and shipped the second antminer too, which also stuck in the custom, no I have lost both.

Below is the message I sent to bitmain support

Quote
Hello

I have ordered two antminer, One which is already shipped and other will be shipped after 15 march.

Now let me come to my problem. The one which is already shipped is T9 antminer, has been stuck in Pakistan customs. And they are asking for payment proofs. And When i provided the BCH payment proofs, they said they dont recongnize this payment and wont accept the payments in BTC. So my that miner is stuck forever in customs. I will not get it.

So what I want now is If you can change the address to another country to my friend if will decreases my loss Or you can please cancel my that order. Other wise my whole investment will be lost.

Can you please help me?

Now the point is, they should have some flexibility in the rule. What do you say?

Just sharing my experience with bitmain

The customer service you were provided stinks monopoly. Bitmain is so big they just dont care maybe?
I would say that your problem is reason enough to not buy anything from them! What if a device is defect, will they then just dont care and consider it your loss?

Thank you for the warning, i hope enough people read it to make an impact!

You would think such a big company knows to which countries they can ship to.

I think you fail to realize that the issue lies with the government of Pakistan, not with Bitmain itself. Bitmain fulfilled their duty in shipping a product that was paid for. The Pakistani government/customs are the ones here who are holding that product hostage.

Instances like this can easily provide Bitmain with enough information to put a flag next to this country for future customers, but unfortunately it does take incidents like this in order for them to see that it’s a problem.

I don’t see any fault lying with Bitmain for this incident.

Yes! Thats why i mentioned that im ok with the first miner, but the thing that i addressed above is the cancellation of the second product before its shipment to avoid potential loss. But this request didnt take into account and occured in loss of my second antminer too.
