Why not? Crypto leads to decentralization, and we all are looking for that in here, isn't it? That is why i think that we all need to remain in here, even if things go harder than what they have been during the last few months.

Hi,
Just wondering if you guys will stay in crypto (aka hold or sell your BTC holdings) if the price does not recover.
Lets say we are still around 6k-7k by December 2018 => Will you wait it out or give up and say "OK, we had a nice ride but we are not going up again"?
What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)
There is no change and I am still believing bitcoin even if price will fall into $5k. It is not only the price that it really matter, but we also consider its capabilities to have a good profit gaining market. It is good also to have such price cause it surely that a lot of people will invest with bitcoin cause it is not so expensive and those individuals that have limited capital can make some investment also.

yes,I will stay in the the crypto world. The future prediction is very good for cryptoworld. I have invested last year in June 2017,I am still in the profit.Bitcoin price is still double from the price of last year ()june 2017),So my investment is double. There is no other investment, which can make ur investment double in one year.

It returns to our respective beliefs in responding to crypto as well as various things within it including responding to the price movement that will occur. But I think.. however, bitcoin still has a high chance of pumping/climbing because this will become increasingly recognized by more people/parties from different countries because of its benefits and its existence. Moreover, from so many people not only make investments, including me personally, it seems will still try to be in the world crypto to find some earn profit.

Apparently, some people are not really looking for that as the only thing they have fixed their mind to, is just how they can make quick money in a short period of time without having to work so hard for it. One thing I understand here is that a lot of people do not even understand the long term benefit and what makes crypto interesting in the main real sense. Recovery is one thing that is certain anyway, but how long, is what anyone does not know and those who look forward to investing for the long term will always benefit from buying the dips.

Oh yeah why not. I think the answer to your question is already answered. I'm saying this because those who'll leave crypto have left for good (when everything was thought to be over in the beginning of this year). We don't see them around anymore. But even with the most difficult market situations I'm still here, them I can say that I'm not leaving crypto.

i dont believe that bitcoin will drop as low as that. id it doesnt give me a decent profit well that is the time that i would no longer patronize bitcoin but as of now, btc is the king and all the transaction here in my country will pass on bitcoin to fiat. so hail btc!

Bitcoin looked 'dead' (price-wise) for long periods of time in the past, but it always bounced back up later. I will hold as long as they don't ban crypto trading worldwide.
It was never dead even in the past, it was just consolidating and those periods were even interesting for accumulation for the long run and as well interesting for transactional purposes. Nevertheless, based on what the OP asked, why on earth should I not use crypto even if it does not fluctuate or recover as he has put it ? We still keep using it for some of us as the currency that it is and per adventure, there is just no way, we would end up experiencing some level of growth over time anyway. Because bitcoin was designed that way. Limited supply and scheduled halving are few things confirming that bitcoin must have huge vale to attract more people in short period.

Who said it will not recover there is ups and downs always occur in all fields. Likewise in crypto world now its the rime for fluctuations. The price will goes pump and dump, but not goes fully in dump. If the price decrease means there is a chance to mass growth in future. I had a hope in bitcoin that it will recover soon, if not also i would stay in bitcoin only. Because all are know in future in cryptocurrencies only occupy the money market.

Bitcoin has recovery or not recovery, i will always stay in crypto. It helped me a lot to make money in the present life, i earn more than lose. Moreover, I believe the market will never sink too deep.

Bitcoin is a currency which is recoverable and has recovered million times and this is the proof and witness of its survival. There is no one who can proof that Bitcoin can not recover as this would be a failed attempt if someone does so. I will stay here for long term, long term means if the market is down and the coin is slowly increasing with the increase in demand but that will take time so this makes a long term which results in huge profit.

Well, I will keep hold my bitcoin particularly if I bought higher than $12,000 but if the market value of bitcoin remain less than the above amount selling will be at lost and it will not be rational of me as an investor.

I wonder what you some of you have been doing in early 2015 when the price of bitcoin dropped like a rock to around ~$200 level. Guys - please look at the bigger picture here, the price of BTC is far higher than most of the 'experts' predicted last year. In February last year Bobby Lee (CEO of OKCoin) said that bitcoin might reach $5k-$11k price tag after having in 2020! And we reached 20k in December 2018 - the price of BTC is still far, far higher than our expectations were a year ago.
Remember that.

Correct but many people do not even take the time to look at about history of bitcoin, people are concentrating in just trading their coins and are only looking at the previous hours or at most days of the price of bitcoin, but when the whole history and take time to look at each period in the life of bitcoin and research why it went down at that time you understand very clearly that bitcoin always recovers no matter what.

Surely during those times there will be fluctuations so I should just take the opportunity to trade so I would increase my holdings even if the price is the same in fiat value. There is a possibility that in 2019 price might still be in 6k-7k and since the price is somewhat stable then there would many merchants that would consider the adoption of bitcoin as payment option so price may have been stagnant in that level but due to the increase in adoption, it would eventually rise. I would just find another coin if there is an opportunity to earn in another coin that would take the crown of bitcoin.

Thats right we have found the answer, you can see the current difficult market situations though, many users still survive and hold their coins because they always have hope that market conditions will change, and if hope is still there then crypto price will definitely recover
