I figured out how to search for town shares if  you know user name of player. It's under inventory, financial news, town shares there is search box.

The OP's current shares have stabilized long ago, you guys probably won't get anything out of it, trust me.
Most high levels or high leveled investors have a stable share price.

You still might be able to get some resource dividends, if there are any shares available to purchase.

Minor correction on starting price, 0.0001 for first share and 0.1 for last share, total shares 1000. In addition there is a tax to the game for each share traded in the amount of 0.0001
This is arithmetic progression. First 100 shares, which represent 10% stake of town taxes is only 0.515 gold
Last 100 shares will cost 9.515 for the same 10% stake.

If you have what it takes to pick out guys whose shares will be sold out, this is tremendous opportunity.

Now this game is getting complicated not just building gold mine , OP can you make a post or thread have more detail on the game ?

Picking good players out of the bunch is investment for the long haul and is more of an art than a skill.
I look on accounting tab to gouge level of production, happiness and activity. Investment choices might play part in it as well.

Another way to approach this, is to scan activity tab for newly reached lvl 5 and buy few shares of best 1 out of 20.

It's not just that, it's that the game has finally started to implement things that were "coming soon", like the wars and other aspects. Before you could get away without having the "happiness" at a good number, now, happiness is next to godliness in the game.

I built the school out of the way, in one of the uppermost cells, since it'll need a fire hall and a police station and I'm already building them near for my town hall. However, I built a fire hall and a police station between my existing market. Not sure if it's the best placement, myself. I'd show a picture but seems like the site is offline

Firehall and police station next to the market, which is currently being upgraded. There will be a second police station next to the town hall and I'm currently recruiting more citizens so no buildings end up unstaffed.
