before the market falls, there are actually some airdrops that actually pay. but after the crypto market falls dramatically, even a lot of airdrops don't pay. of the total 5 airdrops I followed, none paid. I think this is the long-term effect of a falling market.

the beginning of joining the ICO world, I was only able to follow the Airdrop. Honestly, I feel a victim of referrals. because Airdrop often uses Referral systems and I don't have a large community. even when I have funds that can be disbursed, many of them don't pay, even the coins are not sell in the market/exchange.  Cry
maybe 99% of the scams have a point Sad

There are many airdrops nowadays . Some companies that are new in blockchain and cryptoworld make an airdrop so that their project become popular. But since airdrop are free tokens some dont have yet value until the project become successful.

The world's largest provider of bitcoin wallets Blockchain intends to help cryptocurrency projects with airdrop-campaigns for its users. Representatives of the company are convinced that airdrop has no investment risks, as in ICO, and difficulties in interacting with hardware devices, as in mining.

Many airdrop are scam and that is well known to every one , and more reason I don't participate in it any more , I believe they use the Google form to collect people's details for some reasons and before you know it your mails are full of spam mails , many of them don't have site or team even the project and will send a link of form to fill for airdrop and because of free money thing people don't bother checking some relevant things before giving their details and end up having nothing in their wallet , some even go as for to distribute but the token is no where to be trade or seen any where for years .

An awful lot of people who say that an awful lot of Airdrop is a fraud. And from my experience follows the Airdrop, the majority are indeed a fraud and still have a very good result. Token Airdrop when already logged in in Exchange for a very low price. And we have to wait for a long time, until the token price rises.

What a mistake. Show me the sample data and whether it was representative that you are making such conclusions.

Totally agree, I gave up airdrop somewhere at the end of 2017 and don't regret I have a friend doing so far and he hasn't had anything sensible with the projects yet

at this time I rarely follow the airdrop whose coins have not been listed in exchange, so I just follow the airdrop if the coins to be shared have been listed in exchange first, this I do to avoid scam airdrops or just to find participants for promotion, so I never get a scam coin when following the airdrop

Yes it is true. But they are not exactly scams, but you won't get anything from participating in Airdrops. 99 percent of them are equal to 1 USD or less, so try to be more careful with the time that you are investing in participating in different airdrops. Try bounties, you will earn much more.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
Not really. If you are more careful then no one will be able to scam you. Looking for high quality airdrop projects, projects that attract many large investors....
For me, airdrop is something very interesting ... and I like it.

I disagree with this topic, these days many airdrops are being run by existing projects that are already listed on exchanges. or some projects running ICOs. so it is not upto 99% airdrops that are scam, let say may be 75% at most.

Yes, a lot of scams, I think it's worth doing them for a long time because there were a lot of drops that gave good money through time !

indeed there are so many airdrops that are currently scattered and most of them just become scams, but not all of them are like that because there is also an airdrop which is really good in terms of innovation because I have followed that kind of airdrop

Well most of them turn out to be scam project but i would not rate it as high as 99% because there are still some clean airdrops that are still running in the crypto community and they do pay their bounty hunters real good. I think the tiny bad nut always spoils the taste of bunch of good nuts. However, if you want to increase your gains in bounty hunting is best to participate in bounty campaigns other than airdrops which only gets you some meager amount of money.

Now is not the most favorable time to participate in ayrdropah. Personally, I have abandoned this occupation. After all, 99% of projects simply do not pay. And the 1% that pays does not go on to the stock exchange.

This is not true! in fact there are still many airdrops that are not scam and proven to have good selling points on the market. maybe you have not been lucky.
