In my opinion, the factors triggering off the price of bitcoin to decline could be FUD, whale manipulators and the people involved in panic selling on their btc instead of buying. These contributing factors should be atleast be minimize in such a way that bitcoin may able to continuously improve thus increasing the price gradually in the coming weeks to come.

You know, why bitcoin's price is going down, it is because of the bad news they published in newspapers and tv stations in the past month s/days, thats the big impact why bitcoin's price is continuosly going down. But if the news about bitcoin is good, you'll notice, the price is pumping rapidly.

Maybe their is an exact reason why the price of bitcoin is going down. As of today we are going to help and do our best that bitcoin will still remain and the price will high not to lead from any distractions. Bitcoin is very useful as of today because many people doesn't have regular job and bitcoin lead them to have an income. That is for individuals future and in our community too.

I suggest that you hold your bitcoin and don't sell it if you can't afford to recover it in short term. |

In my opinion there are a few reasons for that.
1. Mt. Gox trustee selling its Bitcoins rapidly, and market's liquidity and RSI are getting higher.
2. IRS issued Bitcoin taxation and the annual reports for individuals to submit their past 12 months income via Bitcoin trading for giving the USA governments tax on Bitcoin. People from USA are selling their BTC to pay tax.
3. Weak hands panicking over google, linkedin, Medium and other social outlets banning ICO advertise.
4. Cryptocurrency market is just like Wall Street, you can always expect these to happen. So hold on tight. The market will eventually come back to normal in a month or so.
Yeah, that's all right. These are the reasons why the price of bitcoin is going down as of now. These are the factors of the bitcoin prices. You cannot expect what the price and when it goes up because it affects the many people to panic buying and selling. |

welcome to the cryptocurrency world sir and this is what happens in this world. every price in crypto worlds is always changing in every second and like the stock exchange, in cryptocurrency, no one will know what will happen in the next second. so you only have two option right now which is you can still hold your coins for an unknown time and the second is you can cut loss which you will get lose your money. my suggestion is still held because the price could increase in anytime and you can regret if you sell your coin too early but it depends on you. |

The price fall is completely upon the hard regulations taking place around the world. Yesterday some news describing ban about bitcoin has come from the government of India and this seems to be the reason for the fall in price lower than that of the market price in other countries. The only thing that can be done is to hold expecting good to happen.

The bitcoin price has dropped as investors nowadays are not the same as in 2017, which was a lot of investors so the bitcoin price was high.

I do not think that the futures contracts that were introduced for Bitcoin have done the currency any favours at all. They have basically ruined every market they have touched and this type of derivative instrument only encourages manipulation. Bitcoin has always risen and then corrected just that this time the correction is lasting for some time.

There is way too much supply, after the Mt Gox dumping so much coins in the market, the market took a hit, then people started panic selling and dumping even more coins into the market which just made it worse.

Well, there were several factors that affected the price and biggest one was the decision of institutional investors a.k.a big whales. The price was so high without any support of the enough user base, it was expected to fall down and we have experienced the correction after that price rise. However, I am expecting price to recover from this month and we will see the all time high level in this year itself. Still, do your own research before taking any investment decision.

Its because in the last month of 2017 bitcoins price reach to $19000, the normal movement is if that month will rise then expect in the next month that it will fall, because the price of the bitcoin is not stable and it is unpredictable. So dont be surprise if it will goes down, it will rise again. |
