Have this build running on my B250-D8P rig and tested.   LMK if anyone has any issues.

FYI:  delete all .txt files and let it rebuild them again;  there were minor changes and I needed to do this on my personal rig.

Hi JK !
Thanks a ton for this update. As you say, a special vote of thanks to Fireice-UK
A quick question,: What if we put another wallet address instead of 127.0.0.1 ? why does the dev fee go to an ip address and not to a specific wallet? Will any other changes be needed just in case there is any code trickery ?
Thanks
Badhwar

Followed all instructions on the XMR-stak github to compile.... kinda.  Notes are below.

Huge thanks to Fireice-UK for making this source public.  Without it;  this release would not be here.  If you like it;  I suggest you donate to him directly rather than the devfee as it costs you more than just the donation time of hashrate in the real scope of things.

Compiled using Cuda 10.
DevFee set to zero.
Build version number stayed the same, build name was changed (added -JK).
No major modifications aside from "built by notes", and changing the donate address to '127.0.0.1' for quick timeouts if there is any code trickery I did not catch.  CLi.cpp file was modified to add built by notes, as well as remove excessive fluff.

No donations or whatever required.  Just enjoy.  I know a bunch of you (like me) would like the zero devfee build, but either can't or are too lazy to compile it yourself.   Here you go you lazy ones Wink  If you do feel like taking the time to donate to me for my time, you can find the donation address in the "miner batch" post that is linked in my signature just message me...  But I highly suggest throwing a donation to fireice-uk first... without him, this release would not be possible.

***I literally cut/paste the source and built it 100% as per instruction aside from the edits mentioned above.***

If you are getting slower hashrates on older cards, try these DLL files.  They are from a different release of xmr-stak, thus not compiled by me.  But, another user has reported that replacing the DLL's with these has increased performance.  Your mileage may vary:  https://mega.nz/#!oGY0iIxa!X1tlll_HR5LWTa1aT3jBQIZAR3Bv91_Bgll8huVl84w  This was applicable on 2.4.x only.

*snip*

its not a wallet address;  its a pool address (donate.xmr-stak.com:xxxx)

Here's a copy/paste from the source I compiled to give you an idea....  they used to have a URL in place of 127.0.0.1.

Since devfee is set to 0%, it should technically never run this code;  but just in case, i changed it so it times out quickly.    I haven't really followed all of the functions in executor.cpp to the point of fully understanding them and their workflow;   maybe I will one day.....

im pretty sure his donate pool doesn't require a username or password and just accepts blind connections.  Makes modifying the source to redirect the donation a bit trickier;  which im not trying to do myself anyways.  researching executor.cpp will teach me more;  but i have no reason to do it as of right now.

I could set them to NULL or blank;  but;  who knows what kind of error that could cause.

Code:
switch(jconf::inst()->GetCurrentCoinSelection().GetDescription(0).GetMiningAlgo())
{
case cryptonight_heavy:
if(dev_tls)
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:8888", "", "", "", 0.0, true, true, "", true);
else
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:5555", "", "", "", 0.0, true, false, "", true);
break;
case cryptonight_gpu:
if(dev_tls)
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:8811", "", "", "", 0.0, true, true, "", false);
else
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:5511", "", "", "", 0.0, true, false, "", false);
break;
case cryptonight_monero_v8:
if(dev_tls)
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:8800", "", "", "", 0.0, true, true, "", false);
else
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:5500", "", "", "", 0.0, true, false, "", false);
break;
case cryptonight_aeon:
if(dev_tls)
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:7777", "", "", "", 0.0, true, true, "", true);
else
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:4444", "", "", "", 0.0, true, false, "", true);
break;
case cryptonight_r:
if(dev_tls)
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:8822", "", "", "", 0.0, true, true, "", false);
else
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:5522", "", "", "", 0.0, true, false, "", false);
break;
default:
if(dev_tls)
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:6666", "", "", "", 0.0, true, true, "", true);
else
pools.emplace_front(0, "127.0.0.1:3333", "", "", "", 0.0, true, false, "", true);
break;

when I start xmr stak jk 2.10.5 there is the missing dll error, LIBEAY32 and SSLEAY32

I forgot to include them in the package, you can download an older copy from here and copy the two files, or you can download the original build from github and copy them from there...

they are just the SSL libraries.

sounds about right for the older cards...

do you mean R9-280?

I run a RX560  and see at most 380h/s but typically ~320.

check https://www.xmrstak.com/  It is the place people post their configs.

You may need to mess with the AMD.txt file and fine tune your particular cards.

Rather than spitting empty sentences, base your opinions on facts.

It is a 12 minutes recap from 2 hours livestream, where Phoenix Miner was the only one he got working and JCE for cryptonight. Card still new and need driver improvement to work.

sure... i ran in on my card.. .it doesn't run.   there's nothing empty about that.  I don't need to see a two hour video on something i already know.  if you want to talk about JCE, then go over to that thread.  I was posting in the "XMR-stak-JK 2.10.5 Compiled with no devfee" thread
