The last "bubble" did not last.  The next "bubble" will do the same.  Sure there will be some volatility but over the long run the price will just continue to go up.

what bubble?

the 100 dollar rise in bitcoin value in ten days - generally known as a bubble -

looks at a two year chart on bitcoin and see the other two instances this occurred, and no this time isn't different. THe price is irrational right now  , however i do believe in longterm value appreciation for bitcoin

The only "bubbles" with bitcoin have been rapid > 10x price movements. The first in 2011 from 0.01 to ~30 and the second in 2013 from ~10 to 266.

Going from ~130ish to 266 is not a bubble by this metric.

We will be in bubble land if the price rapidly moves to >1,500. Until then this is a stable rise.

The bitcoin economy suddenly grows from a single major (incompetent) exchange to several high volume highly liquid exchanges plus etfs, second market, etc. The price goes up 80% over an entire month  to a level that its already visited during the mtgox era. This is a bubble?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.

bubble would be if we went to 400 tomorrow and 720 on an intraday spike the following day

there will be a correction, I am sure, but the current price is close to long term trends

I'm sure it will decrease in price again, but no one knows when.  And, when the price has fallen a bit, it will increase again. This pattern keeps coming back in my opinion. Allthough I don't think it will decrease to a price less than $200,-.

What characterize bubble is fast price increase, near the bubble pop is often even higher price increase.

Im pretty sure we are in a bubble now, only question of time when the bubble pop

After the real bubble begins and the chart rescales, October/November will be seen as the "steady rise period" like march. Anyone who thinks 4%/day is fast is new to bit coin.

I think to have a real bubble it must pop and never recover, so a price correction would probably be a better term. If ever bitcoin goes to below $1, that will be a bubble pop! (imho)
