Hi Any links/tutorials for a newbie like me please? :)so I can start understanding how these threads about new coins can be used. Can I mine this coin? Can I purchase it? Thanks Regards
I can sell you all my coins for BTC or LTC What is the value of this new coin? "0"? (In which case I ll gladly pay you the equivalent amount in BTC ) More seriously though: I realize the info in OP isnt meant for newbies but how do you use that data? lol i was thinking like 0.001/btc each lol! I dont have that many In OP he's telling what algorithm this coin uses (SHA256), how long it should theoretically take for a new block to appear (2 Minute Block Targets), How many coins per block and when that blocks reward will devalue( 25 Coins Per Block, Halving in 4 Year Increments (every 1051200 blocks) Minimal reward = 1), And how the difficulty changes so blocks are created ideally at the 2 Minute mark ( Progressive Difficulty Adjustment with 80 block look-behind and max 5% diff adjust per.) The next is the recommend ports for use with mining rpc is for solo and p2p is for connecting to peers, The line after that tell about the block information (ie, timestamp and merkel root) and default conf is where you put the config file you make in notepad that configs the wallet. The setup for solo mining this coin is the same as others. 1. install wallet &make config file 2. point miners to mine at localhost:port 3. ? 4. Profit Hope this helps

I am getting 10 Coins per block not 25 when solo mining. Are you sure it is not 10?

We are doing heavy promotion outside of bitcointalk. We have troption holders now in Russia, Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, Kenya, and Australia, and of course USA. We would very much like a pool, and would be grateful if you would do this. We also have a site that is popular in China that has almost 100 thousand registered users of which many are businesses. Investment is being made and Troptions are also being negotiated to be used with several Barter organizations. As it turns out Cryptsy is in our neighborhood so we have visited them and have asked for their consideration. Thanks for you post, and look forward to the possibility of a pool. Lee P. S. New easy newbie setup at www.Troptions.org for the block erupter and Bfgminer with autoconfiguration.

Is this already dead? No miners at ispace, no information added - looks pretty dead to me.

A few miners keep coming and going from the pool ( http://trp.ispace.co.uk ), guess they have it in their rotation.

Liking this coin, just started mining a little. A better block explorer would be a good first step to turning this into a reputable coin!

The block explorer has had some down times. We are working on it, and would appreciate any referrals to someone that might want to create another block explorer for Troptions. You might also use the statistics at the pool: http://trp.ispace.co.ukAlso working on paper wallet creation and could use some help there also. Please contact your favorite exchange and ask for Troptions to be added.

Are you able to walk me through what you did there to get it connected?
