What factors tell you if an Altcoin or new Token will grow in the LONG-term?

How do you know if a token will be worth money when speculation and high exchange volume trading is not pushing the price up? When people calm down on the crypto exchanges, what tokens/altcoins will survive? How do you know?

Look at their team and their work process, what is their future. IS their company in the future will grow up fast? How they can earn money with their ecosytem and token system. What you can do with Token in future, not simple sell it for profit. Choose what you love  Grin

The developer can deliver its promise to the investors by complete every roadmap at the time. That's the primary factor in determining the token that will promote growth for long-term.

That means if there are more demands on the token. It will attract more and more asap.

I guess altcoin that developing the future blockchain infrastructure like ether, and another platform that can attract the more demand to use its platform will survive.

if the token exchange rate is high when first there is released in the exchanger, they will last a long time. I see there is DAI, and ATL which its exchange rate is high enough. and certainly many are interested in investing in the token, and will make it last long and get big profits.

I think it's a bit difficult to know which type of coin can last for a long time with valuable value, but maybe you can read the company's white paper and roadmap and you can search the market for a lot of growth on ICO growth that has growth and interest prospects market.

I also have the same question as you. It is difficult to know if a project will succeed in the future

Open source code quality and circuit diagram process.
No matter how good the marketing of a project is, you can find everything from the open source.

In identifying what is the best coin in long terms is the question that nobody can give the exactly answer. I'm saying that because I believe that no one can predict what will going in the near future. We don't even know what will be the successful coins or what coins is going in it's end. However, we can have some guidelines or basing information or documents about the coins performance in the past years of it's existence in the market therefore it is better that you should make more research so you can gathered more information about in your concern and hopefully you can make a better choice.

Anyway, I’m this type of situation, the team work is very important factor to talk about. If the team is really working hard by hosting events and the prospects never relent about the project, hopefully, it will moon somedays. The team have big contribution in the development of all project.

to be honest it is hard to know, but we can see from the work of the developers, whether they are on time or not. active developers, always discussing with the community and always presenting their latest updates openly is a great project for the long term.

All of the comments were true, the team, the product they sell, etc. Also bear in mind any successful ICO needs a support that is huge enough to carry with them until they hit exchange.

I don't think anybody can actually forecast that with 100% accuracy just make a best guess scenario. You should thoroughly check out the team and what their past experience has been, do they have members with proven business skills and not just tech geeks. See if the coin will have a clever real wolrd usage, would it be something that you would want to use if you were not investing in them? Ask questions, read up on the whitepaper and check as much as you can.

I think it's very hard to understand . We need to look at the road map of the team , see what they have done and want to do .

What factors tell you if an Altcoin or new Token will grow in the LONG-term?

How do you know if a token will be worth money when speculation and high exchange volume trading is not pushing the price up? When people calm down on the crypto exchanges, what tokens/altcoins will survive? How do you know?

For this you have to check through a variety of options such as team, their qualification and how fast they implement their roadmap
Their team must be on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter, and it should be as a medium to  to answer questions from potential buyers

I most times pay attention to tokens that have just an hard cap, a combination of soft / hard cap makes some tokens valueless
Don't waste a single moment, make more research before investing.

for to be able to see which token will be strong in long terms the key is experience, from experience we can see if this token can be stron in long term or not, and of course for the nub that is very hard but we can check list some point characteristic of token long terms :
1. The team ( strong team will be make the project strong )
2. Project idea ( unique idea and have clear uses cases will have own customer

You need to wait to find out about it. There is no clear picture from the beginning, only later you can see some results, what actions were taken by their team and what is planned for the future to be done.

If the roadmap and whitepaper is to good to be true to you since you will review all of those before you invest . As long as you can see that the  token will increase by holding it for  long term then be it and hold it for a long time .

Do you mean, if the roadmap is done correctly and on scheduled/on time, then the company is set for long term growth? I understand that completion of the roadmap in a timely way and to a high standard shows the team/company is capable and serious, but does a roadmap really replace the profoundness and potential of an idea+business model+dedicated team?
