It is important for your personal goals, how much you invested I mean. And you are right, timing the market is crucial, in any market and especially a highly volatile one, and more so if you are dealing with short-term or daily trading.

Off cause it dose not really matter how much you invest but what matters his much patient do you have to wait in selling of your investment, buying at January and selling it off for a cheap price or lost out of fear is no investment and buying at April and holding your investment until the price is above your cost price before selling is an investment.

In order to become profitable, capital plays a great role in our investment. Since we are using capital in order for our business to put up. We cannot make any production without capital. But it is different from trading, even you have lots of money if you don't have the so called "timing", you will not gain rather you will lose your capital. Timing is important when we are putting up a business, if we don't have that, expect that our business and investment will not grow up.

It's easier said than done. Imagine that you buy now with 10k and it dips till like 1k within next few weeks? You simply can't time the market, although if you have some experience or knowledge about it you can spot few pumps, such as the one in december because at all the news that were covering btc and then people started buying in because of hope to profit fast. You can surley spot these kind of things but you don't know exact point the dip/high level will be.

It still matters since high risk = high reward and everyone here should be aware with the risks they're going in to because some users don't care until they start losing money. People who bought before when it was $10,000 can still recover by not selling any bitcoins they bought and instead look at the long term which ranges from a year to a decade. You need a little bit of everything to make it work, balance things out and gain profit.

kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.
That's why before investing into such market as crypto, you must know on how volatile it is or else your money is being invested into something that you don't know where it is being lead. Those who have less capital but invested on the right time they are for sure happy right now on where they really are. Its why knowing on when the right time to invest is very important if you don't know when it is the right time, then you can lose yourself, I mean you'll feel frustrated.

Its hard to predict the value of each period even after analyzing bitcoin and other crypto's growth trend in CMC.  The right time you invest when the value is too low, one would certainly gain a lump of turn over. Better to wait when the peak value is too high and the value comes down. Watch out until the value comes too low though its hard. Every year do have a different price slot each month and we can not just predict that this would be sure to go and invest.

It depends on both of the terms, when u invested means would u get profit in near future as u purchased coin in low cost then it gained more value, second if u would not invest sufficient money the profit would be small as if coins' rate increases by 20% n u invested only 100$ u would get 120$ but if u invested 1000 $ u would get 1200 $ difference is that in first situation u r getting on 20$ and in second situation u r getting 200$ in a particular time period.

How much you invest and the timing you make an investment both play important roles in your success on earning a decent amount of profits. Although you can have a higher chance of getting an ROI and more if you time your investment right. That's why it is important that you analyze the market before investing. You can mitigate the risk of losing money in the process and you will avoid the stress that comes with investing.

For me it is how much you invested and how long you are going to hold that bitcoin is important.Don't expect any return if you invested at January and want returns at April,if you invest the same amount into any other investment the value will be same in the short period but in a volatile market like bitcoin it has the ability to multiply the investment capital in very small time too,but you need to hold that crypto if you want the real profits.

Both matters. Timing in a volatile market probably matters just as much as the amount you invest, though.

Thing is with prices falling in this bear market, you need to time your entry point extremely well if you want to maximize your profit. And sometimes it can be a difference of several times, and the profit/losses can add up pretty quickly. If you invest a lot at the start of a fall only to panic sell later, that does no good either. In fact that's even worse than investing nothing as it ends up being a losing trade for you.

If you want to invest a big amount right now, make sure that you are completely mentally prepared to hold for the long term until you make a profit. Otherwise, buy small amounts at a time and average out your entry price that way since markets can be completely unpredictable sometimes.

Making good profit by investing in cryptocurrency is not a factor of how much but it is determined by the project or platform you invested in. Make Sure you invest in good projects.

This makes sense but I'd rather compare those who invested few years back when bitcoin is still really cheap to those who invested just recently. Their investments could have brought them so many profits by now despite of the current volatile market.

Yes i would have to agree with this. People who have been in the cryptoworld for quite some time now could probably attest to this. We already know when its up or down. But to those who are new investors would probably not understand how it works. The minute they heard about bitcoin moulding instant millionaires they put out their money and said "i want to buy bitcoin" without really understanding what bitcoin is.

I agree with you but to be precise it about takes risks?.
If we go back in time to 2010, no one will buy your bitcoins "sirius sold 5000 bitcoins for 5$ only" but now anyone ready to pay more than 7,000$ for 1 bitcoin.
So if you invest 7,000$ in 2010 you will get much higher profits than you invest in 2013, 2018 or 2020.
But why, because the first members took risks, they made huge profits.

Start your own project, take risks and prepare for profit

Most of the predictions are just speculative and no proper analysis but some are good with these. I don't add any problem to my mind just because of the market. I'm good by holding for long term and this is the solution for those who are problematic with the current market. Just lean on the past years chart and look on how it became unstable from down to up trending.

Of course the timing of investing is important, don't invest when the price is high, especially when the price constantly going up, at that point there will be a major correction like now that already going on for quite some time, try to learn the market before investing and you could maximize your profit, usually the most appropriate timing is to buy when the price hit the bottom and ready to bounce, you can see this timing when you pay attention to the price chart

It is important for your personal goals, how much you invested I mean. And you are right, timing the market is crucial, in any market and especially a highly volatile one, and more so if you are dealing with short-term or daily trading.
The main reason most people always say you should invest what you cannot afford to lose is so that when times like this come, it would be easy for you to discard what is going on and move on with your daily life. The fact is you cannot time the market, you can only decide to stay careful but at the same time, you still have to play it with wisdom.

A lot of people who bought into FOMO may not have, but the truth is everyone had the perception of bitcoin to the moon, with nothing actually driving the demand except speculations and that was the bad thing but this does not mean in the nearest future, the previous ATH, will not end up being the future bottom.

With such an unstable market now, nothing can be anticipated. So unsettled the more unsettled. When people fear, they will hesitate to invest. So the demand has fallen, and prices will fallen.
