According to CCN, Bitcoin prices will probably climb after April 17, when Tax Day in the United States is over. That’s what Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee, a noted bitcoin bull, predicts.

First, it was the Chinese New Year, then it was regulations and the G20 summit, now it's the tax season  Tom Lee is known for being extremely bullish, he knows the average joe believes in whatever the so called "experts" say, so he's trying to spread a bullish sentiment among the panic sellers and weak hands. Don't get me wrong, I like optimism, but to predict the day (April 17) when the downtrend is going to stop is too much, at the end of the day, you can't predict what's going to happen in the crypto market. So I have to disagree with Tom Lee, the price will go up whenever the market decides. You have a point mate and yeah we don't predict about the price of bitcoins. But I must suggest to take a risk. This will be chance to earn some profit of it. But this message is to keep the bitcoin steady because lot of fuds and bad news earlier. But if this message or post will be a good sign in the market I think this would be happen in this April or next month. Hope it will be true. |

I only believe on the market trends if the figures are increasing this month of april because expert are not totally 99% accurate on his speculation. As our digital market today is a little bit crazy red. Furthermore this information can help to boost our believers to invest more on bitcoin.

if that is true, well I think that is really good news for everybody. Many people will grab the opportunity to buy more bitcoin while there is still enough time to invest before the value of btc start to pump again. Let us keep our fingers crossed and be hopeful all this prediction is true. |

Thats just a speculation,no one knows exactly when the price is going to increase or drop. There were a lot of speculations in the last time, first with Chinese year where nothing happened and the next one with G20 summit where the price increased 1000$ and the day after that dropped again. Will see about this one if it is good or not but I dont think it is going to help bitcoin much because it is not related to bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. Anyway, the price has to go up sometimes soon because this crash was a big one seems like a good time to stop

I hope his prediction will happen because I'm already bored of hodling and I think there's nothing wrong if btc will recover and skyrocket again right?  Though what Mr. Tom Lee stated is another speculation again, I'm willing to believe his statement not because it is accurate but because he is in the side of btc, gjving us hope that btc will rise sooner. |

I don't really understand how tax regulations apply in US. is bitcoin taxed there? if not, doesn't it mean oppositely ? I mean, if bitcoin is not taxed, the people would hide some of their wealth by buying bitcoin to decrease the amount of tax they have to pay, and they would do it before tax day. or am I saying something silly !?  |

This is interesting to know what will happen on that day. Although I know that the price of bitcoin is unpredictable but I'm optimistic that somehow any good news can trigger to make a good rally. |

That would be a good news, but I don't think wether that thing is certain. Since price is dependent on demand and knowing that US is not the only one who makes the price change, I dont think April 17 will be a big hit for bitcoin. The price will not instantly be what we want but that event would cause to attract more people to invest. |

I don't trust cnn after all the comments they have made about bitcoin in the past calling it a scam , bubble ot god knows what maybe they might be right about this but i don't think there should be any value for their speculation they are after a news channel who is looking to profit from more viewers so it can be stunt after all

I hope it will. We've been waiting for the bullrun for far too long now. I think i have bought enough already. We'll just hope people will trust bitcoin and buy some more. And to the weak hands i hope they learned their lesson and will not do panic buying anymore. I hope the whales will buy in bulk so we can gather our profits altogether

It's possible. But I think it's going to be a slow climb. We'll know when the day comes. Tom Lee is an accomplished Wall Street strategist with over 25 years of experience in equity research. He probably knows what he's talking about.

I hope this happens i can't cash out anything with the fluctuation still happening. It might not be wise to cash out when the price is still in a downtrend. Let's see what happens in april 17, for now the best thing to do is hodl and wait how will the market react to this.

Well there have been so many predictions about the price of Bitcoins since the past thus to be sure of anything is like a double edged sword .
We don't really know about that but yes it's possible and yes it may not be possible, because it was first predicted that the bitcoins will rise in February then in March and then here comes the new prediction ...
Well it will rise if..it gets investors who are strong enough to not panic sell but if that's possible or not is entirely a luck by chance .

Im hoping that news will make an impact on the price of bitcoin. I can wait to see bitcoin on green color again.
My eyes are tired looking bitcoins price for almost 4 months in red color.
That's what I'm feeling now, I hope this is the beginning of the bitcoin price going increased. Too many people are waiting on the bitcoin price going in the green and rising again. |
