can you provide us with link, sir?
im with monero now. the hashrate drop like 80%. and i think 70% of that is asics. its very disaster backthere. no chance for GPU mining. 1,2 Gh/s drop to.. I think its only 200mh/s now.
More like 70% of that is botnets and hacked servers that are still trying to mine the old algo.

Nothing wrong with asics at all. It's just when one company owns 95 percent of asics. Making 4 billion a year. Dumping asics on the market like dash making zero profits for asic buyers, giving their "friends early access to asics".
Bitmain been eating stakes, lobsters, coke and hookers every night. Leaving everyone else with little crumbs. Enough is enough.
You guys had the chance to fork Sia to teach bitmain a lesson. But you all refused. Let this be your punishment.
Yet literally 2 companies own 100% of the GPU market, with 1 of those companies owning 70% of the market share........ What is your point?

we should ask bitcointalk to open different channel "GPU mining" with no access to ASICS. As far as i am concerned, ASIC should have they own forum - with coin promotions, program writers, pool operators etc.. this one it will be only for us, GPU miners, programmers (SP_, claymore, DSTM,XMRstak and all others. Pool holders OCminer - come on, and if ever any smart coin developer will have any interesting coin, he could present to us here and we will make a decision, same as today, by looking into altcoins GPU announcements etc.
To MRSMOKER I believe monero will be bad for few days, until diff will normalize. but after should be good - i am not specialist (only miner like you, maybe with more experience)
To Nuammy Please go to ASIC forum. for sure you will be super popular there.

PS i am also mining monero now , high diff block times/ in the range of 2h vs 2min before. no profit - but i dont care, it is for GOOD overall. i could go and mine - like a traitor any other pro asic coin - but NO. this ends today -no more. also Nsummy "Yet literally 2 companies own 100% of the GPU market, with 1 of those companies owning 70% of the market share........ What is your point?" THOSE 2 COMPANIES DONT MINE ANY COINS - GET IT.

Gpus are the most affordable super computer and most widely available in the the world unlike asics. Even in a 3rd world small country you can buy gpu from a retail shop but getting your hands on an asic is not easy for everyone. So this truly adds to decentralisation.

With all of you on this. Not supporting coins whose devs surrender to shitmain. Seen enough from the scumbags to never want to be affiliated with anything they get their greedy grubby hands on... whether SIA, BTC, BCH, whatever. For them to mine secretly on monero for several months and then try to dump their soon to be obsolete ASICs on the average person who can't be a part of the ASIC game it just a typical example.
Or the whole Bitcoin Cash debacle... wasn't enough that they controlled and centralized BTC... anything to get their hands on more money. Remember Antbleed and ASIC Boost? The SIA thing was low too. But that's what SIA devs get for trying to be open and honest about their ASIC intentions in the crypto space... getting blindsided in the middle of the night by Bitmain on a low market cap coin at that, not to make money, but to screw SIA and their Obelisks for trying to get in the mining game, not to mention all the honest folks that prepaid for Obelisks to try and support SIA's growth and infrastructure.
It's time to take a stand and say no more. If crypto is to be for the average person we have to support projects that are targeted towards and profit the average person, not projects that make the rich richer. I'm very disappointed with ZEC and ETH... as far as I'm concerned they've betrayed the original intent of their projects. That said, my energy, funds, and efforts will be behind XMR, VTC, RVN, and the other projects who stay true to an anti-asic/decentralized vision.
And as for all of you that beg to be fed from the literally used, half-eaten scraps that fall from Bitmain's table... anything for an extra dollar right?

Oh man... One thing that I know, we can't deny changes and innovation, we can stick or follow. Decisions are yours. I also GPU miner, for honest, am doing this for profit. As we know, Crypto was full of innovation. And I didn't stick to one coin only. So, I don't really care about ASIC expanding.

in a world where centralised fractional reserve banking has wrecked all countries with a handful of subhuman bipods controlling the creation of the currency we use, crypto offers a decentralised people power monetary mechanism that left unchecked is turning into the same centralised controlled faux system like the current fiat. I was screaming from rooftops when BTC futures were introduced in the CME and now all see why, go to the btc price graph and see what happened just after Christmas when the subhuman filth could deploy their neverfailed trick of printing endless fiat money and using it to short sell the BTC futures thus driving the price down and down and down, be aware that these enemies of humanity can drive the price of BTC to 0 in an instant with a market sell equal to the buyers orderbook, I have seen similar action repeatedly over years perpetrated in the precious metals markets especially silver where they market order sell 3 years of silver production in 2 seconds using paper derivative contracts that represent a promise to promise to buy/sell BTC has been compromised and that's that, there is no coming back, the real problem is that all other cryptos (except ETH LTC BCH) must go through BTC to become fiat so we can pay our bills, this must change where major cryptos like Monero etc should be traded to fiat as standalone and not via BTC. Be aware that the current fiat $ Ponzi scheme is destined and intended to collapse, as it always has in tested history across all nations, leaving cryptos as a viable alternative so all the actions you see now is the same filth trying to capture and control the crypto market via BTC in preparation. We started a community pooled project to increase efficiency, mining speed, and utilities for small to medium size VEGA GPU miners in an active attempt to counter asic mining and level the playing field. Our first piece of software is currently under construction to be released in 3-4 weeks, with new Vega Blockchain drivers on the drawing board. That's what we are doing instead of sitting in the corner and crying. https://vegatoken.org/official launch to be announced on Bitcointalk at the time of first software release smash the central banking filth

This community BitcoinTalk-altcoins-mining is not only for GPU miners - is for all the miners. obviously technology evolves and they are new, specially build machines ASICs that come and try to gain the market . but you know what - it is the GPU miners that make coins - push them to the top. and the asic they come and profit on you back + the coin developers dont stick for you. that what i am talking about - F.... them. when asics come in BTC infrastructure, please look where are the GPU miners today. who mined first block in BTC - not ASIC. all the other coins in SHA 256 DTM/peercoin etc they all suck. This will happen to all the coins of today, regardless of the algo. WHEN ASIC COMES AND YOU DONT ACT and protect your community - YOU WILL GO DOWN. So miners PLEASE support the GOOD PEOPLE.
Initial mining of BTC was done with CPUs, not GPUs. GPUs and, briefly, FPGAs came later before ASICs took over.

I switched all my rigs to monero and will never mine any coin that will not protect me from ASICS. + the profit on monero will be better then any other coin because by hardforking they remove 80% of asic hashpower from there mining network. THIS IS F....G UNBILIVIBLE. and I believe all the other algos are infiltrated by asics as well or maybe more. What is this? - remember days when you mine .2 of BTC per day. well now is .0008 btc par day WTF. WAKE-UP
You can also mine Intensecoin! I switched all my 21 rigs on him.

Guys, this is the message from the founder of ZCASH. "Furthermore, it is speculated that Equihash ASICs are out in the wild, but after a community debate, Zcash founder Zooko Wilcox stated that he ‘doesn’t want to deal with this,’ suggesting ASICs for this blockchain network will not be countered and pointed out that people are free to fork the altcoin to fight ASICs while Zcash focuses on more urgent and important development issues." and one of the founders of ETHEREUM (VITALIK) he would like to go POS because he thinks GPU mining is bad for planet earth (hope he goes to China to see the pollution there). Well those TWO CLOWNS forget where they come from. Lets teach them what it is "mining power / power of the community" that make them rich. Just stop mining there crap coins, stop trading those coins / mine and support Monero or any other coins that care about you - why because they stick for YOU.
This is what happens when you forget who helped you. Ethereum GPU mining was already going to end some day but it's interesting to see Zooko say he doesn't want to deal with it. I wonder what more important matters he is facing other than the continued support of those that helped him get where he is?

No matter mining Zcash by using asic miners or GPU miner, their team still get 20% block reward, I think that's why they dont care about it.

Just to let you know fellow miners - the total hashrate o monero going down from 1300mh to 188mh and is still falling. I assume it will be at 100mh after 720 blocks got mined from the day hardfork happend. AS YOU CAN SEE 95% of total monero hashrate before hardfork was ASIC. I belive The same is for all other big cryptos. NOW YOU KNOW WHY YOU DIDN'T MAKE MONEY SINCE DECEMBER. And crypto price is going down since then as well. Because when You mine you trade for BTC or you keep the coins you mined, Bitman on the other hand change everything to Bitcoin Cash. Other then that I really would ask a question to Roger Ver. - Roger - WTF , when blockchain coin network is controlled in 95% by same group - this is not Decentralized / why you support Bitcoin Cash.

I'm down I already switched weeks ago here's the huge problem with asics besides they only care about money is unless your a big miner or have connections you get get your hands on a new miner to make some coins by the time I or a normal miner sees it it's been paid for 3 months in advance so bitmain can you it in their farm then they blow the dust out just as the difficulty sky rockets than ship to you FUCK BITMAIN
