Exactly, patience is a necessary and important virtue for investors and traders like us. I am not a good person to endure and persevere before. But after entering the crypto market, dependency from the pump / discharge process was seen. I feel the need to work hard to change and improve my patience. It's not easy and you need to practice it over time.

The best emotion you have to control in crypto's is patience, and that is really good decision right now if you do that because as of now bitcoin price decreased too much. That is right that the price of crypto is unpredictable in the market then you need to have a patience and just hold a while if you don't want to have a loss. Yeah but most people need to understand that if you are just a lazy guy who does not even want to wait a few hours to trade, then cryptos is not for you. Most trades are not quick, you require a long time for making some profit from them.

I doubt patience is what you need. Maybe in bear phase, patience can save you from panic selling. But in bull phase, patience can get you rekt. There were people who FOMOed in December and bought BTC at the peak of $20k. If they kept the patience till now instead of cutting loss margin. Then there investment is almost 65% down. Also, people who kept patience at missed the $20k selling point also losf big time. Thus, patience isn't what always work.

I have nothing to comment on the probability part, but on another point I agree, if people want to make profits with bitcoin or altcoins then people should be aware that they should hold for a long time.

What happens is the following: the person buys bitcoin when the price is in the $10,000 and the price begins to fall, and fall and when the price drops to $8900 people already panic and sell for fear of losing everything. people think the price will fall to zero. but this is because people want to make quick profits and when prices fall they lose hope.

In my experience, I earned money in long-term investments and I lost a lot in short-term investments.
Crypto investment should be considered as long-term investments if anyone wants to make a good profit at the end.
And those who play short are like playing with fire in my opinion, though some very experts have succeeded in the short term.

In my opinion, patience is the key of profit in the field of trading, now the market in a big crisis and  the majority  of cryptocurrencies in a total decline, Furthermore, It is unfortunate that many traders are afraid ( panic selling). Professional investors always make a lot of money in a long term because they behave well and intelligently in difficult situations ( like, this big drop )  and do not rush to make decisions, and they are very patience.
