The volatility of Bitcoin’s price is due to it being a new and innovative technology. Like any new concept, there’s no guarantee that it will succeed but the longer it lasts, the more likely it is that it will catch on.

I think cryptocurrencies in general are here to stay but many of the ones that are in existence now may not be the ones that are successful in the next decade. I think Bitcoin will always have value because of the scarcity of it combined with the name recognition.

Everyone in this forum were hoping that bitcoin will survive for long years,as part of being a believer on this currency we highly trust its potential in the market.Soon it will recover from this bearish market and pumps again.We have undergone the skyrocketing price of bitcoin last yearend of 2017,most probably it will happen by this year.

Of course there are still a lot of investors who hasn't lose their faith on bitcoin. Its that we totally wasn't expected to see things and not just bitcoin, but the whole market to struggle after hitting all-time-highs last December. The price can't even hit $7K, and when everything looks to take off, something will happen and another pull back ensures.

So we have two choices, to get out or believe and continue to hold. So there's still a huge percentage that people would rather not affected by all this negativity and look at the future and hope that it will go and increase the price just like we have seen last year.

Actually these are the old believers who are in the support of bitcoin from a few years and they know that in the long run the price of bitcoin will increase and the volatility just happen for a shorter period. While the price increased much higher and then reduced it is because new investors came in bitcoin and when they saw a smaller fall then the price decreased too much and only those old supporters remained in bitcoin now when these new investors will see the price recovering and will know that the price actually in the upward direction then they will learn that it is not good to sell panic.

if you ignore the december drama about the price. todays price is higher then it was 6 months ago and higher than any price for the 8 years before that
stop looking at the all time high thinking thats the expected price. check the lows and you will see that the 6 monthly movements are on a good and happy rise.

funny part is the OP complains about unstable price but then screams, demands, and wishes for a $1m coin in only a few months..(facepalm)
how about stop checking the price daily and stop looking at just the 3 hour charts and seeing the big differeince to last months FLUKE... and instead look at the big picture and se that today is better than the yearly-8 yearly chart

True, I agree. There are some people panic now because the price is still low. But it is April now, there's a lot of month that Bitcoin can be rise. Just sit back and relax.

Just like you mate, I always believe that bitcoin will never stay this for so long because  I have faith that bitcoin  will survive and soon it will rise up it's price.

But it will need a perfect hit of good news about bitcoin, sounds like none of the country ban the bitcoin or even better "they will legalize bitcoin"

If no good news then, im afraid bitcoin price will keep decreasing day by day. Even if we keep said that bitcoin will survive but others keep dump btc and didnt believe it, then its all is nothing.

Definately bitcoin will survive thru ups and down this is because of supply and demand really matters. As a king of cryptocurrency bitcoin is a very tough coin that easily decrease and automatically increase without any reason you can only determine once there is someone anonimous transaction having a huge amount of buying.

Bitcoin will survive as long as Blockchain technology keeps on developing, no doubt about it. but it can not always be the same ways of previous years. too many speculations and incidents will influence bitcoin markets. Believers also need to have calculations.
