A mere two years ago it went up over 100 times in less than 12 months. Obviously it was massively warped by various factors and the present landscape doesn't resemble that any more, but those who make the most final-sounding predictions often end up looking like silly sausages. Anything could happen.

I call $10k by 2016, but if we keep rising 10 times per year it will be a lot sooner than that.

If bitcoin becomes very popular then within 5-6 years it can easily reach the target of $10,000.

When it touches 500 on early november it is now hard to even reach 1k which is ath till now. As people who have bought at or around 500 will try to see at that point. Price has to cross 500 mark by december for it to reach 1k within 2016. Hope it will be 10k by 2020.

I see bitcoin ending up somewhere between 2000 and 3000 in 2016.

The next step will be a hellish bear market again, probably for the entire 2017, followed by 10k bitcoins in 2018.

I agree with your prediction on 2016. We should not surpass $3k of the peak value in 2016, with stable value somewhere around $600.
I am however not that optimistic on the duration of the next bear. I think it will be much more severe than the one we just finished and that lasted nearly 18 months. I expect that many people will get disappointed due to insufficient deployment rate.

In a hundred years we might just be trading caps.

But predicting the market depends on how many new investors come in. How governments succeed or fail.

Personally the only reason we have a high rate is the winklevoss exchange came online. If you note when it first opened, and the market price change. You will see it could be those wall street investors wanting in.

A good guess is 2020. But my guess is 2024

Even at 10k a coin that's going to take a lot of accumulating.  Way out of the reach of a mere mortal like myself.  Looks like 100btc is the number to aim for.

Well everyone including me was hoping bitcoin to reach that price in the near future but that amount is too unrealistic IMO. Though its kinda sad to say, I still vote that it will never reach that high. I don't know. I just can't feel it will happen. I'd be contented with $1000-$2000 each

yeah 100 BTC is my goal for the next 5 years. I dreamed of having 100btc and I hope can be achieved within 5 years before bitcoin go at $10,000

im pretty sure that the price will not reach such heights in the given years though i believe that it is highly possible that in 2020 the price will be somewhere at 5 thousand each as it has a lot of potential to grow if more and more people will be interested in buying it
