Poll: What year will Bitcoin reach $10,000?

I voted never because I think it will be possible not by 2020. It will happen at 2021 or above. Let's just wait and see what time will bring us.

i'm doubt too bitcoin prices will reach to $10000 before 2020 and i thought OP should be put in another poll options because may be prices will hit to those amount at 2025 above

i think it is really possible that the bitcoin price is going to grow really soon that much

in my opinion we might reach 10 thousand dollars per bitcoin in like 5 years or so because people will buy soon

Actually I can't understand this recurrent obsession for the bitcoin price. I don't think that price level is possible because I can't see any actual intrinsic value behind any altcoin and their current prices are only based on mere speculation.

And I am also convinced that speculators don't deserve such a huge reward for their greedy actions.

I did ever comparison BTC with a volcano, it can be turned off, fuming long, or at any time erupt. $10K could be a type of eruption, now looks fuming long only.

You could be right if there is a major bug found in the bitcoin system. But bitcoin can still evovle and become better.

It is not going to be in 2016 because it is way to soon for the Bitcoin to reach that amount of money right now. i think that the Bitcoin needs a couple more years before the price is going to be that high.
We have to focus on the present and stay realistic.

If the Chinese want to get their money out of China, they will buy in China and sell outside China, the net effect is zero.

I don't know about that, if you read some old threads you'll see how they considered almost impossible for BTC to reach 100$...
I mean the BTC marketcap (10.5 mld $ atm) isn't big at all if you consider the disruptive potential this BTC thing has

Sorry but i dont believe that the bitcoin will hit that large amount ever you know there are allot of bitcoin users this day and that amount is only growing
so i dont believe with so many peopel who has bitcoins that the amount will be 10.000 each ever not in 2020 never ever ever.

i dont think bitcoin will rise to $10k soon, the price now too is not up to the expectation of users. it can only reach a maximum of $2k within  few years.

I would like to see the price at $10,000 as soon as possible but with Bitcoin you have to be patient at all times.

2020 is less than 4 years away from now. It means that the price has to increase with +$2300 per year for 4 years in a row to reach that price. Do you seriously see that happen?

Even if the increase per year is not linear in nature, I think it's far fetch for bitcoin to reach $10K in the next 4 years.  After the last halving this year, there was about 50-60% increase.  Assuming the bitcoin stabilizes at 600-700 and another halving occurs at 2017 with relatively the same price increase, it may reach 3000 by 2020.  That's being conservative by the way.

The amount looks high now. But after 5 times increase of the user numbers, $10,000 each is easily achievable.

yeah,we have already seen bitcoin going skyrocketing,in relation you previous prices.
I expect that bitcoin might get to 10k$ somewhere in 2030,maybe little earlier but dont get us over-excited about it.

The price rose 50 times last halving. I think this time, it will rise 20 times, next one will be 10 times, then 5 times.
